Unfortunately it didn't take long for them to up their prices and lower the quality. 5.50 for a piece of cake was already expensive but it was quite large so I thought it was worth it. Now it's €6 and half the size. I don't reccomend and it's honestly just another greedy shop owner who has a large turnover of staff so it's super inconsistent.

original post So originally I was bummed to see this beautiful antique bookshop close but the new cafe kept the original exterior which is gorgeous and brings back the nostalgia of the neighborhood. The coffee is delicious and barista knows what she's doing ( can't say that's the case for the other coffee shops around). It's great for the gluten intolerant people because everything is gluten free. I loved the carrot cake! Perfect texture and sweetness ( a nice light frosting that doesn't drown the cake). I did not like the matcha donut mainly because the frosting is too sweet and the texture of the donut is heavy and grainy ( but I think it's difficult to get a light and fluffy texture without gluten). Bonus* The staff is...

This café is to avoid at opening hours and in the mornings. It hardly functions as there is only one member of staff serving the morning rush. Expect to wait 15 minutes for a latté..to go.

Their baked goods arrive much later than the opening, so you never know what they will have when you arrive. There is an overall lack of professionalism and accomodation, as the host refuses to take responsibility for 1.the failure in timely service 2. the daily lateness of the baked goods arrivals.

They simply will not accomodate. Just one example after coming here for a few years: the cookie my child usually gets was not yet there at 9 (the café opens at 8.30), and they refused to let her eat a cookie she bought across the street while I had my breakfast. When I explained the situation, I was told that I would not be allowed to have my breakfast and coffee in the café as long as she was eating her cookie. A...

Very nice and charming location. The gluten-free food is delicious – many things you wouldn’t make yourself at home everyday are available (scones, cinnamon rolls etc.). The staff is very nice. Due to many customers, it may take a couple of minutes for your order to arrive, but it’s worth the wait. Prices are not more shocking than everything else in Paris (coming from Germany). You really get something special and fresh for your money instead of other gluten-free offers that come out of a plastic package. Since the café only operates with gluten-free ingredients, contamination is out of the question here which is a real relief having a 10 year old kid who is totally allergic to the...

I came here because of the café’s cute setting. I saw negative reviews but chose to give it a try anyway because for several times and at several other cafés, I found my experiences exceeded low ratings. Well, for this place, I may have to say there’s a real reason why it doesn’t reach 4 stars rating: unfriendly staff. The man wouldn’t speak to us. When we asked a question, he answered by pointing fingers, not evening looking at us. How rude. Not to mention the price for eat-in, which is above the standard, but the staff’s attitude is below the standard.

We came here after reading about the full gluten free menu, our daughter is coeliac and we throughly enjoyed everything we ordered. Looks like a small café but there is an upstairs area, the character in this building is amazing. Staff where helpful and helped us with our broken French / English. Must visit when in Paris weather you’re gluten free or not. Five stars isn’t enough. They have a take out option also.

What a find! As I looked at the pastries I had an experience. Their lemon tart, brownie, croque, quiche and brioche were so good. Their service was super friendly and accommodating. I am very discerning with my ratings and so rate this cafe with five stars with intent. This is a must stop location for anyone desiring to have a quintessential Parisian cafe experience while gluten free.
