Thursday, 13 April 2023 at 09H45 Food: 5/5 Excellent. All of the pastries are homemade. They have a rustic grandmotherly charm. The roulé à la cannelle was divine! Service: 5/5 Excellent. I overheard the staff speaking in English to tourists and French to locals. They were polite and professional. No complaints. Ambience: 4/5 Very Good. The interior is decorated like a 1950s French country house. It is a feeling of a lost old France. Very sweet. Outside the tables were shaded by awnings which made the seating a bit cold. I would prefer full sun for some natural heating on a chilly day. Cleanliness: 5/5 Excellent. Immaculate. I did not visit the restroom so I cannot vouch for it, but the dining areas were presentable. Value: 5/5 Excellent. I had a roulé à la cannelle at 2.70€, a madeleine at 0.90€, and a café allongé at 2.30€ which is 5€90 in total. Amazing value for a local Parisian experience. Overall: 4.8/5 Excellent. A newly discovered gem to be patroned many times over the upcoming years.

We didn't make reservations and showed up at 1015 on a Sunday. We were first in line. There was a sign out front that said the seating at 1030 was full but wait in line if you would like to put your name on the waiting list. With in minutes there was many people behind us. Promptly at 1030 two staff members were outside and calling people in who made reservations. We put our name down on the waiting list and was told it could be within minutes or around 1200 at the latest. This was ok with us because we were going to explore around and not in a rush. There is lots to see around this area! And it was worth the wait! Delicious food! From savoury to sweet. We were served fresh juice right away and a hot beverage. Everything was great! Cozy and busy spot and so worth the wait. 24.5 euro for brunch. Worth. It.

Restaurant opens up at 10:30 I arrived with my girl friend at 10:15. We were waiting in line with 3 other couples, we were 2nd in line. At 10:40 the doors opened, we were sooo excited! Staff came out and announced names off of a list people not in line got to go in front of us. After this their were no open tables inside. I kindly asked if I could have a seat since we’ve been waiting. She sat myself along with the 3 other couples outside. We waited for 15 minutes in the cold waiting for someone to come out and talk to us maybe give us a menu? Anyways none of us knew each other but we all got up as it seemed extremely disrespectful and not in good business. The food here looks fantastic and it must be if they choose to treat customers like that. Hope you have a better...
