Hunting for wine tastings, we stumbled upon Le Comptoir et Les Caves Legrand. It's nestled in an 1823 covered mall called Galerie Vivienne. Don't think Mall of America, think Great Gatsby meets the Boston Public Library. You won't be able to stop yourself from taking photos (OK, selfies too) of this architectural gem.

I went for the risotto pesto as I'm always on the hunt for vegetables of any variety while in France. Understated, refined, and elegant, this dish filled my veins and pores in the most satiating way. My husband's dish was equally fulfilling.
