Looks great on the surface but the cleanliness is lacking. We found a take out container and shoe packaging under the bed. The shower was not clean and they didn’t refill the soap until we ran out. Worst was that when we pulled apart the duvet cover, we found someone else’s pee on the duvet inside. We let the staff know before we went out for the day. They put a new duvet cover onto the same dirty duvet and made the bed. When got back, we asked the front desk staff for a new comforter - they had to take one from another room. No tissues or free bottled water in rooms. No elevators (we were on 4th floor). Hot water in shower runs out by around 8:30am. Pros are the showers are strong (while the hot water lasts) and there’s a fan and heater in the room on top of A/C. Location is convenient to the metro and lots food around till though bakeries and shops start to close around 8pm. Lots of restaurants nearby open late. Staff were very nice and friendly. Our room opened into interior so very quiet at night.

Unfortunately the reviews for this hotel are misleading. The bathroom was dirty and the shower was moldy. The bed was comfortable but the air conditioner made noise the entire night and did not let us sleep. The scariest part was that we arrived as the political unrest was happening around the city and they should have shared the safety advisory with us but instead they mislead us that the area was safe to walk around, while uprising riots were happing nearby the hotel, Louvre, and throughout Paris. We directly asked about the 9pm curfew the president announced and if we should come back before sunset, and the host told us that we were fine to stay out because Paris and the Louvre area was safe. As a result, we were caught in the middle of a war zone, running back to the hotel through riots because we were misinformed by the hotel.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. Our room was spacious with plenty of room to relax. It was very quiet. We were right next to the lobby with only one flight of stairs to manage. No elevator. They don't have a place for breakfast, but you can purchase a bag breakfast with pastry and yogurt that is delivered to your room. Very cute. It was located in a great neighborhood with lots of shops and restaurants. It is close to many tourist sights. We could easily get a taxi on the corner. I would definitely book this hotel again.

The man that works in the reception at 4am is completely unprepared to deal with customers. I took a key yesterday as my Airbnb has sent me the instructions, and I didn’t get any “paper” as he was asking for. So, I just have got the instructions to send him the 6 numbers that were sent in by Airbnb. He didn’t want to take the keys even when I said him I had taken it, and when he finally decided to take it (after a long and not that subtle conversation), he just didn’t let me take the photos of the keys just to prove that I was delivering back (in other case I would get charged by my Airbnb). So, he just began screaming that I was disturbing him, when I was only asking for help in a 100% subtle way. He kept with the key but didn’t register anything.

REPLY 1 - 16/06: I didn't treat anyone badly and I didn't raise my voice as you have replied. At the time as I arrived, he was asking the whole time for a paper, not a badge, and it's not my fault that the owner of the apartment did not prepare it. I only had to leave the key there as I took the same key one day before, according to the instructions I had. He refused to let me take the picture OF THE KEY and began screaming, as if i didn't do it, i would pay a 50$ fee for the apartment's owner. Unfortunately, if he's not up to treat anyone accordingly, I would not even recommend anyone going to this...

Disappointed in this hotel. The pictures are the ultimate form of cat fishing. When I arrived and was showed my room is was directly across from the receptionist, that was the first red flag. Entering the room while it looks pretty from a distance once you get a little closer you see all the imperfections. The stains on the walls was the first thing I noticed. Still trying to be upbeat i took a tour, the bed sheets has small stains , the bathroom I personally feel like wasn't cleaned the best. It had a strange smell. The towel warmer rack was filled with so much dust, so no point in putting you clean towels on a dusty rack. The toilet bowl was so close to the wall it wasn't comfortable while using it. In the room I had the ac barely pushed put any air, it was very uncomfortable. And every 4-5 minutes a strange buzzing noise keeps happening so that was extremely annoying when trying to sleep on an uncomfortable bed. Just very disappointed because the pictures...
