We walked by the restaurant and wanted spontaneously eat something small for lunch and drink a coffee. After being ignored and waiting for 30 minutes for a table, we were sat down outside. Another 25 minutes later (until we stopped someone) to finally take our order, we were told the food that we wanted to order was not enough. We were 3 girls and wanted to order some fries, chicken bites and a salad. They didn’t even listened until the end what exactly our order would have been, but for their taste it was not enough. The problem is not that the restaurant apparently has a policy, how much they want their guest to spend or that they wanted us to order some of the lunch things instead of smaller plates. The problem was not telling us in advance, then we wouldn’t have spent 55 minutes waiting and then telling us in a very unfriendly way to leave. Or maybe we would have ordered more for lunch, but after being so rude, we did not want to spend 1€ at a mediocre restaurant with some rude waiter. If you have such a policy tell this your guests in advance. Afterwards we went to the Restaurant next to them where we were greeted friendly and ate a very delicious meal and drank...
Read moreOverall bad experience. We sat in the restaurant and 10 minutes later big rainstorm came. One of the waiters got completely wet while she was collecting the big umbrellas in the front and later continued working like that. Felt sorry for the lady, she should have had a change of clothes and dried up but obviously couldnt or was not allowed to. Food was so so, nothing special but ok. One thing that was noticable was lack of effort by the waiters and disrespect since they noticed we were tourists. I noticed that every table gets a flask of water and we did not. Additionally locals would get some snacks if beer or wine was ordered and it was not the case for our table. And we had a few rounds so it was not accidental. It isn't something that I care about but when you notice that you are not treated like other guests it kinda annoys you. Every paying customer should be treated the same, regardless where they are coming from. Luckily we had great experience in other restaurants in Paris so this was obviously and thankfully...
Read moreNot family friendly. Do not come if you have little kids. The hostess was initially friendly until my 2yo screamed for a minute and she slapped his mouth with a paper coaster. We were so shocked that we didn’t even react (our mistake, we should have left immediately). My food came completely cold (beef bourguignon) and I didn’t touch it. Nobody ever asked why I didn’t eat anything. I could also hear the hostess laughing with her waitress colleague and talking about us (in French). This was the most unpleasant place we ever been in all the countries we visited so far. Next evening we went to an Italian restaurant at Champs-Elysee and it was completely the opposite experience, what made us confident that the problem isn’t our toddler screaming at all. Embarrassing experience and I will never step back on this place or recommend it to anyone.
