Mak Thai — Restaurant in Paris

Absolutely terrible service, especially the Manager/ Owner. One of the dishes we ordered was Papaya Salad. It came with RANCID peanuts mixed in the sauce and was inedible. We immediately smelled the rancid peanuts when the dish was placed on our table. When we politely asked the Manager, she pretended to sniff it, and then said she could smell nothing wrong.

She also yelled at us and became very aggressive when we noted that the dish was on our bill despite us sending it back to the kitchen and not getting any replacement. We can tolerate slow service, but we cannot tolerate dishonesty. Reading the comments here, it seems that lying about their mistakes were commonly done in Mak Thai....

Came here famished after hours of shopping and after trying 3 other restaurants. He wasn’t technically supposed to be open yet, but he opened early for us. Maybe he saw how exhausted and hungry we were and took pity. Regardless, we were so thankful. And luckily the food was excellent as well as very fairly priced. I had the Chicken Pad Thai and my partner had the Bo Bun XL. The Pad Thai was fresh and just what I needed. The Bo Bun was really good too. The mint in that dish added a lovely, complementary flavour. For dessert we had the Thai Flan and the Coconut Balls. Both arrived nice and warm and not too sweet.

All in all, great food, good prices and...

Went here the last night i was in paris and i still think about the food. It was absolutely amazing and fresh. The staff were very nice and the atmosphere was quiet and relaxing. I got a cabbage and tofu dish ( can’t remember the name of) and it was so good. My friend also had the pad thai and we shared the some apps!! Overall a 10/10!! if anyone knows the name of that dish could you please...
