Went in for a food upon recommendation from a nearby restaurant who couldn’t accommodate our traveling party of 6. Upon arrival greeted by a really nice girl, service was quick and when we returned a burger to be cooked further - no issue everything was addressed. Food was really nice all enjoyed and left happy after burgers, lasagne, pizza. 5/5 for food and service at this point. We left to try get the 30 bus back to the metro, we realized we didn’t have the required change for the bus my wife attempted to re-enter the bar to get change having left our change in tip (although two members were still inside using the toilet) only to be refused by a member of staff and the bouncer having left 20 seconds previously. When she tried to explain to the staff member (brown hair, tight pony tail & green shirt) she began sneering and laughing at her whilst standing in the doorway. This continued for about 3-5 minutes from 2 staff members and the bouncer. Absolutely disgraceful behavior I should have recorded her but we were in such a rush to get kids back on the bus and off the metro before dark.
The girl who served us was really nice. Food was good. Service was good. Attitude of other staff members when leaving deserves far more than a bad review and just made me think once we get your money we will sneer and jeer at you and show our real...
Read moreI was in my happy place today! Who would have thought I would enjoy a very good burger in Paris LOL.
I ordered le frenchy burger for EUR19 cos I thought there was no way I could finish a pan of pizza but then it came with a bunch of fries hahaha...I kinda missed my initial purpose, huh? The burger was sooo delicious, I had my first bite and I hummed along cos I was so happy. The bun was soft, the meat was savory, the bacon..I mean, nothing could go wrong with a crispy bacon, no further explanation. I didn't need mayonnaise nor tomato sauce to compliment my burger cos I was happy with it. If you want a tasty burger for lunch, this is the place. The hot cappuccino was also nice (EUR4.50).
The interior was nicely thought, brought warmness even in the heart of winter. Surprisingly inside of the resto was spacious so there were choices of seating.
Ah, the service was efficient, rendered with hospitality. When I arrived, the staff asked me whether I came to eat, I guess he intended to joke around, what else would I do if it wasn't for lunch, right? The staff provided a bottle of water, mayonnaise, and tomato sauce just seconds after I made my order. My burger and cappuccino came within minutes, much faster than expected. Thank you and keep up the excellent service! I shall return...
Read moreI had a fantastic meal at Mokus l'Écureuil — a charming spot just around the corner from the Eiffel Tower that blends playful design with seriously good food. The moment you walk in you feel the lively, modern vibe: upbeat music, friendly staff, and a cozy, bustling atmosphere that’s perfect after a day of sightseeing.
One of the most memorable touches is the bathroom’s spaceship theme — a fun, unexpected detail. The automated doors operate with red and green light buttons, giving the whole experience a futuristic, playful feel that guests love to talk about. It’s the kind of quirky design element that makes the restaurant stand out and adds to the overall enjoyment of the meal.
As for the food, it’s excellent. The steak frites were perfectly cooked — tender, richly flavored steak with crisp, golden fries — classic and comforting. The Nashville hot–style chicken packed a lively, well-balanced heat and a delightful crunch; clearly prepared with care and skill. Between the creative décor, solid plates, and great location near the Eiffel Tower, Mokus l'Écureuil is a highly recommended spot for anyone looking for a memorable...
