The tea room of course is very cute and Nina's signature tea is amazing, I love it very much. But we experienced an unpleasant situation yesterday that proves how important is that the product ends up in the good seller's hands to not ruin the ''after taste'' for the clients... We came yesterday at 15:17 to Nina's tea room and it was completely empty. At 15:26 lady who was serving us brought to us tea...At about 15:45 when I kindly asked where is the washroom, she told me: ''you need to vacate the table because I have a group coming at 16:00''. Honestly, I was shocked. When you pay 23€ for tea you don't come here to drink it at a speed of light, rather opposite- you enjoy it slowly and observe the place, after all, it is a whole experience. Besides, why that group can't take any other table in a tea room but exactly the one where we are sitting? After all, as I said, the place was completely empty, with no even line outside and during 30 minutes of what we spent there, only one girl came to buy tea. I was extremely shocked because nobody warned us that we have a time limit where we have only 30 minutes to enjoy our tea. So after being thrown out of place like this, it left me bittersweet. Yes, the tea and interior are amazing, but this kind of service is unacceptable, especially taking into consideration location and prices. Also, ambience was rather odd, ghost silence, at first she switched on music but very quickly switched it off, not sure why, so it was rather strange to enjoy those 30 minutes in a ghost silence. What a shame, hopefully management will speak to this seller because this is not a service to provide to...
Read moreI visited this store on Tuesday November 12, 2019 for the very first time. Keiko, an Asian/Japanese woman, took care of my mom and I that day. I've been hearing about this tea shop for quite some time and knew I had to visit it during this first Paris trip of mine. The shop is so pretty and has Marie Antoinette's letters, statue and shoe on display in the shop. It's a pink dream! My mom and I had the Marie Antoinette tea and delicious cake. Keiko was so sweet, caring and warm! She explained the different teas to us and let us smell them. She took pictures of my mom and I and answered any questions we had. My mom and I loved keiko, her kindness, warmth and hospitality! Nina's needs more workers like keiko! We bought some teas/presents to take back home to the United States for family and friends. Keiko was great in helping us with our purchases, giving us extra shopping bags to put the teas into as gifts for our friends, she beautifully wrapped a tea set for my aunt and gave me a free tote bag to take home! Our visit to Nina's was a wonderful experience, all thanks to keiko! My mom and I loved our visit so much that we can't wait to do it again the next time we come to Paris. I already miss the...
Read moreSo glad we stopped by Nina’s for afternoon tea! Nina’s was recommended by our client advisor at Louis Vuitton. Just around the corner from each other, on Rue Danielle Casanova.
Nina’s a small quaint shop, probably had seating for 4 - 6 different parties at one time. But the shop is so cute with some of Marie Antoinette memorabilia! They have plenty of assortment of teas, candies, soaps and more to bring home!
We ordered 2 orders of the Marie Antoinette tea and cake special. Get the cake!! The cake is delicious , omg, never had anything quite like it! The icing was amazing! And even though I’m not a real big tea drinker, this tea is the best I’ve ever had. This is Marie Antoinette’s favorite tea recipe, consists of black tea, rose petals and apple! Yummers! Fortunately for us who doesn’t live in Paris, we can order this tea online!
The sweetest lady served us and she was so nice to us. Merci beaucoup! What a...
