The restaurant itself looks nice—it’s clean and has a pleasant atmosphere. However, if you’re visiting Paris, I strongly recommend paying close attention to prices and what you’re being served, as misunderstandings can happen.
I visited this restaurant with my mother because some meals on the menu seemed reasonably priced. However, I later realized that the drinks were quite expensive.
For example, the menu listed a Coca-Cola for €6, but the size was only 0.33L. When the server asked if I wanted a medium Coke, I said yes, assuming it would be a standard-sized glass. Instead, I was served a large 0.5L glass, and the price went up to €9.50. The larger sizes and their prices were not listed on the menu.
Later, I overheard another tourist ordering a soda, and the server asked if she wanted a large size. She wisely asked how much that would be, and I heard him say 1 liter. That’s quite unusual for a restaurant, and I can only imagine how much it must have cost.
Another issue arose with our main course. I speak French, so I carefully ordered two Spaghetti Bolognese (€11 each), even pointing to the item on the menu. However, after a few minutes, the server brought us two Spaghetti Carbonara (€16 each) instead.
When I pointed this out, he kind of tried to say that the Carbonara was Bolognese, which was confusing because the dishes are quite different. I remained firm and politely reiterated that I had ordered Bolognese. Eventually, we did receive what we originally asked for. The dish was fine—nothing exceptional, but it tasted good.
At the end of our meal, I reviewed the receipt carefully. My mother had a coffee, and I had explicitly ordered a small size (€6.50). However, on the receipt, we were charged for a medium coffee (€7.50) instead. While the difference was only €1, it was frustrating to notice repeated...
Read moreI wish I could rate this restaurant lower, but that's the minimum you can rate it on here. I will never recommend this restaurant to anybody. The service is absolutely disgraceful. I went with my fiancée over there and we had to wait for more than 40 mins to get our food, and it is to be pointed out here that we were the second customer at that time. They changed waiter in between, and messed up our order, and we ended up having to wait another 10 mins to get served our order. That was still bearable, but the worst was the second waiter. The young guy was absolutely rude - borderlining racist; no manners at all, shouting to us, and to the other staffs at the restaurant. Same person was really nice to customers of his own race but absolutely rude to other races. When asked if we could have some more time to settle the bill, he had the audacity to say, quoted: "Do you need one hour to pay sir?" We never expected to receive such a treatment from a restaurant in such a beautiful place in France, but that was the case, and we really hope no one else experiences the same treatment from...
Read moreI couldn't leave quick enough. Came in for a bite to eat, chose seafood pasta and 3 cheese pasta as well as lemonade and bottled water.
In an empty restaurant, they sat us between 2 families with crying kids and we could hardly squeeze past the table. I'm not big, either lol.
The food had absolutely no flavor, thank god for salt and pepper and parmesan on the table, otherwise I would have left. The "lemonade" was lemon juice squeezed into seltzer. Very .... odd.
They sat a massive group next to us about 10 minutes after we were sat and ignored us for about 20 minutes. Took the larger group's order first. I considered getting coffee and dessert but couldn't get out of there quick enough. Literally opted to stand in the rain instead of waiting it out in this establishment. To top it off, the waiter had an attitude when they asked us to tip and we denied. Tip is included on the bill already. Never again. Tourists beware, they will...
