We ate here one late evening (around 10pm). It wasn't crowded when we went but there were several tables with people enjoying meals. We enjoyed pizza, and pasta and our server was excellent. About 3/4 the way through our meal, three intoxicated men tried to sit at a table next to us (I was with my wife and kids) and at first our server tried to get them to move away but they didn't want to. About 2 minutes later, after our server went inside, the server returned told the drunk men that the kitchen was closed and they were closing up. They left. We were very grateful to our server and the head of staff for doing that. We really enjoyed our meal and our server was great (I wish I could remember his name, it was David, or Douglas I think, he was a black man with an absolute great personality, smile, was so friendly and we're so happy he was our server). Read moreThis cafe is conveniently located beneath the Bir Hakeim Metro, and it offers exceptional hot chocolate. However, the quality of the other menu items is below average. Upon arrival, we were quite famished after a long overnight journey, and we ordered a cheese sandwich, a hot dog, a cheese and ham omelette, and dried sausages. Unfortunately, the cheese and ham omelette was overcooked to the point of being burnt, and the dried sausage was overpriced. The cost of 5.50 € for only six slices of dried pepperoni seemed excessive. Furthermore, the French baguettes used for the cheese sandwich and hot dog were overly firm, leading to scratches in our mouths.
In conclusion, we recommend visiting this establishment solely for the unparalleled hot chocolate, particularly the creamed variety, which was delicious. However, the other menu items were...
Read moreThe people here are so so rude and intimidating. Me and my wife entered the restaurant and wanted to use the restroom before ordering food. Their waiter started shouting at us before even we could say anything. When we told him that we were going to order after using restroom he started demanding 4 euros as an advance payment to use the restroom so rudely as if we were some thieves and even physically blocked our way on the way out. Very pathetic experience. They should learn to respect tourists and women especially. In India, all restaurants are mandated to grant public access to their private toilets as per law, especially women. It seems france is living in the dark ages with entitled restaurants...
