We really wanted to try this restaurant, made a reservation, but everything went wrong from the moment we arrived, we came earlier than our reservation and told the waiter about it, he said to wait and he can't do anything for us, although there were tables available, so we came back by our time and those tables were still available, so we asked to sit us by the window, since the table was free all the time, the waiter said wait for your table, he offered us a table near the kitchen, but it was not possible to sit there because it was very hot and unpleasant, so we told that to the waiter and we asked if he can move us to a different table, there was option by the window, the waiter said no, there is no other option, if you don’t like it, just leave :( we were shocked the way he treated us and we felt not welcome, especially as a English speaking customers, he was happily greeted French speaking people and specially when we saw that he gave other people the table we asked for, we are traveling a lot and this was the first time ever we had been treated unprofessionally :( His customers service destroyed our evening mood and last...

19th anniversary dinner! I chose thos restaurant because it's a simple menu, with great options, and for my husband who can be a bit picky, and me who can be frugal, but love great food. We made a reservation, and glad we did, it is a small 13 table restaurant, and they did have to turn people away. Christopher was the main sever, spoke fluent English. Also menu in English. We had the goat cheese w/salad, prawns, and snails for starters. Snails tend to take on the flavor of what you put them in. This was Butter and fresh herbs and a delight to dip the Baguette in. Everything was excellent. It wouldn't be a bad idea to get all of the starters and share tapas style. On to the Cod over mashed carrots, so good. And the 7 hour lamb for me. This is the equivalent of pot roast in the states, but with lamb. Also excellent. Then the cheesecake (this was the best) fruit salad with sorbet, and apple dessert. The apple was VERY sweet. I had dinner at Restaurant L'ange 20 last night, and it was such a wonderful experience from start to finish. The service was excellent—the staff were not only attentive but also warm and friendly, which made the atmosphere feel very welcoming. The decor was absolutely charming, adding a cozy yet elegant vibe to the evening. We started with the grilled confit chicken gizzards, smoked duck breasts, and mixed salad, which were all well-prepared and flavorful. My husband had the seven-hour lamb fondant with vegetables and sautéed potatoes—incredibly tender and full of rich flavour. As for me, I ordered the beef chuck braised in red wine with pan-fried foie gras, mushrooms, and mashed potatoes—and honestly, it was the best dish I’ve had in Paris so far. Everything was perfectly cooked, melt-in-your-mouth tender, and packed with deep, satisfying flavours. To finish, we had the pistachio crème brûlée.
