We went to this Chinese shop, as food looked delicious. They had three sizes of light weight plastic containers, I chose the smallest size. The price was very clear on display that €1 or €2 per 100 gram, I thought it was quite cheap, I was happy and ordered 6 small portions and 1 size up for , 2 different rice, egg fried rice, and simple rice, I think, prawns, beef, chicken vermicelli noodles etc, finally it was time to pay, and I was shocked with the price of €57 with small portions when the price was clear? We were over charged because we were tourists and they were well aware which is why they took advantage of us. We were asked to sit on table with the food was coming. We saw that they were microwaving the food and we got annoyed because, it’s their duty to let the customers know before hand that that’s how they warm the food. We were eating in. When food arrived on our table , we had to specifically ask for plates, which was common sense that we couldn’t eat in those plastic containers? The women came over, we asked how much grams are the smallest portions? She said it’s about 300 grams, which is a lie and unbelievable because that small container couldn’t hold such amount, she kept ignoring but we wanted to know, but then my husband said forget it. We started to eat the food, it was horrible taste, very chewy as well. We were asked if we were tourists?before the payment was made, I said yes we are on holidays. The problem was language barrier, staff couldn’t speak English, that was also a big disappointment because they should’ve at least one person who could speak English? We couldn’t finish the food, we asked to take the food with us, which was given to the needy . If I could I would’ve given 0 for the services, food and language barrier , overcharged. I will contact customer , as we all have consumer rights for such things. PLEASE BE AWARE FROM THIS SHOP… I would recommend pls bring someone who could speak the language and do check when the weight the food. I have read other customers comments and they had the same issues as we did. I hope they took them to the court for overcharging tourists .

The smallest size can’t be €8.56, €16.90, the largest portions make sense for this price not...

The pricing is very misleading and its hard to guage how much it will cost for a meal, which simply makes tourists and those unfamiliar with pricing feel ripped off.

The food is sold by weight, but it doesn’t have to be. Just put a price to a standard serving portion and say you will charge X€ for one serving of this item. If you want more, then it’s maybe 50% or 100% more for that item. Much more transparent and fairer. Avoids misunderstanding.

I ordered a meal of 1 rice and two meats with drink that came up to more than 20€. I was stunned by the price- i had expected the price to be half. I surmise that i was given close to 400g of each item, the problem being i was not told there were other size options or you could pick a much smaller item.

And to make things worst, the food was not good. The beef was chewy and tasteless, the food way to salty and I struggled to finish it. I greatly regretted not picking the pizza place next door. The food is microwaved after u order, and for the quality of food, the place was overpriced.

Overall, the food is too expensive(and misleadingly priced in a way which will almost certainly make the unsuspecting customer feel price gouged). They should rethink pricing and how to present the pricing to customers. Overall, my recommendation is to avoid.

-Postscript- Response to owners: read the deluge of bad reviews and numerous complaints about this unfair pricing style. The shop is a rip-off, and the answers by the owners show they don’t care to change how they price and serve their food. This was hands down the worst meal i had in Paris, and one of the worst Chinese restaurants i ever had the misfortune to patronise.

I’ve literally had better chinese food on...

Food was bad and the lady at the counter was the worst, she was arrogant and rude. My almost 1 year old daughter coincidentally fell sick in the restaurant and vomited inside the restaurant, we cleaned it however the lady was cursing all the time in her own language when we asked for some napkins to clean the table. Then she came herself to hand me some more napkins only to order us to clean the floor. I was already going to clean it since I had already just cleaned the table but her attitude was the worst even after seeing a sick baby and what we were going through. She needs to take lessons on empathy & respecting others, especially the ones in trouble.

Be aware that if you don't order around more than 10 euros they won't let you eat inside the restaurant!

Reply to the response: Instead of making false accusations and assumptions, focus on training your staff and maybe accept what happened. You should value your customers and make your service better. There are multiple reviews available that clearly support my review here. And no she didn't try to help us at all. She was rude.

Replying to the latest: Do you even think I would ever come back to such a place. Lol. People give reviews for extraordinary food and good service too which you lack unfortunately and in addition to good service you lack the ability to accept your fault too. Give value to your customers and...

Feb 2024- Before seeing the Eiffel, we passed by this Chinese restaurant, we decided to eat here for our first day out in Paris 😅 because we were so hungry, we realised we were so exhausted and was not able to have dinner when we arrived last night. Stephan was very nice, we loved how he talked to customers. We even got a picture taken with him 😄 And of course we’re Asians, so we loved the food! 🫶🏼 July 2025 - Our second time to visit Paris and yep, first day out means first lunch would be at Traiteur Saveurs d’Asie! This time we met Mr. Philip. Stephan’s dad :) They are really nice and friendly. This is a catering-type of restaurant which means food is already ready-to-be-served. They will reheat the food before serving. They price their dish by weight or by unit. If ordering gets confusing for you, please ask them nicely and they will be more than willing to help. They are a very nice family and they speak very good English. They have free wifi and free use of toilet for customers only. Toilet is clean on both times we visited. 🫶🏼🫶🏼🫶🏼

We found this little gem near the Eiffel tower which was a total surprise. After wandering around in a look out for some hot n spicy food . This place felt like God sent. Good and economical Chinese/Thai food plus excellent hospitality of the person who took our orders (missed to ask his name).... amazingly polite and helpful....if there was an option we will definitely visit again. Pls do give a visit if around the Eiffel tower.
