SOLIS bar & restaurant Méditerranéen — Restaurant in Paris

Today was one of the rare times that I have to leave a bad review for a brunch in Paris. When I arrived (1215) for my reservation at opening time I was asked to wait in the bar area. Once seating was to commence, I was ignored twice by the hostess for couples who arrived later than myself, and was not seated until 1240. I had to get into the end of the line as I was ignored from the staff. Once seated, I was not asked about the formula until 17 minutes later for the complimentary drink.

After that the meal continued to disappoint. The tuna was still frozen on the line, the eggs were runny, and there was a slow time to populate the dishes. The flow of the brunch was also very odd. One room was almost completely empty with just some bread, compotes, and some assorted small breakfast pastries. The main line was squeezed between the bar creating an issue with client flow. Same with the desserts and juice line being squeezed between the end of the bar and tables forcing more problems with the client flow.

The dishes were not very kept up with and just not much variety in the cuisine from other brunches in Paris. When I peeked into the kitchen it looked like there was very little staff working and also with the servers.

I am not sure what has changed with this venue as I had read good reviews for brunches. From my experience today, I would not recommend this for any meal or brunch as it is just a lot of money and does not come close to other brunches in Paris. Being a local of nine years, they absolutely could do better and get more staff that cares...

I highly recommend Solis restaurant located in avenue Wagram (Paris 17) which offers every Saturdays & Sundays as well on public holidays a great and really delicious Mediterranean brunch! The buffet format allows to enjoy a large range of highly quality hot and cold meals without forgetting the farandole of amazing deserts - Well done Chef & Team! The restaurant staff is incredibly professional and role model in their approach with all customers. Their key priority being to bring satisfaction to each of us, paying a specific attention to details to make our culinary experience unforgettable. Disappointing Experience While the location and ambiance of the restaurant are undeniably charming, the overall experience left us deeply disappointed. The drinks were unbalanced, and the food was mediocre at best. Although the service was friendly, it failed to make up for the quality of the offerings.

When we politely mentioned our dissatisfaction with the food and noted that the drinks were not entirely bad, no action or effort was made to address our concerns. This lack of responsiveness further diminished our experience.
