TeaYammi — Restaurant in Paris

I came to this tea salon to take a drink and draw. I deliberately ordered a more expensive drink to stay, barely one hour later, a woman staff came to me and told me that: it’s prohibited to work here. I was like: yeah Im well aware that we cannot use laptop and tablets during the weekend, it’s written on their board, but no one said that the client’s cant stay with a sketchbook to draw. Plus, I was just drawing for hobby, not WORKING. So I told her that I wasn’t aware that drawing was prohibited, and I was not working, does she want me to leave. She told me that if I finished my drink I shall leave… I was too upset, I paid almost 7€ for a tea that I didn’t even like, I just paid it to be able to stay inside and draw, barely did I stay one hour and I was kicked out like a “mal propre”. Meanwhile, other people came in group ordering just 1-2 drinks and chatting for hours, there’s no problem. I will not come back to this place. The man (I feel like he’s the owner) and some other staff were very kind, but this lady kinda upset me. Anyway, if they’re not welcoming arts and artists in their salon, I will not bother them ever again. It’s a pity because I spent a lot on other coffee shops and I even have a gold client card in some tea/ coffee salons… they just...

I was introduced to this place by a friend and now I always go here. It's pretty hard to find as the outside entrance looks just like all the other buildings next to it, and I assume they are worn out apartments or businesses that aren't that busy.

The tea shop immediately has a wonderful atmosphere with dim lights and a café feel, but with no music. Unfortunately, because it's so popular there are barely any seats around. Also, a lot of the customers like to take more than a few hours there using their laptops, talking to friends or just on their phones.

It would be really helpful if there could be a time limit set for how long you can stay there. I'm not saying up to an hour, but I do know a few people who would stay there for over 3 hours just on their phone and I think that's a bit too much.

Terrible costumer service - the part owner lady taking order is not customer service oriented, she was very slow and overcharged my drink order. I asked for soja milk plus bubbles without sugar, (as I am 8 months pregnant) I waited 20mins for my drink standing, with no sign of my order I inquired about my drink. She first missed understood me in her native tongue Chinese and she ordered the tea + soja milk without sugar. She charged me 6€20 for the drink. When I confronted her she told me it was not possible to have only the soja milk + bubbles without sugar, and plus price will be the same at end? It makes no senses that a bubble tea shop will not be able to make a drink with half of normal ingredients? No humanity or regards for their regular customer, sadly to say I will never go back again.
