The French Bastards — Restaurant in Paris

I wanted to visit this bakery as I heard so many good reviews about it online. Unfortunately when I visited today with family I quite possibly had the worst customer service experience of my life. It began when we walked through the door and the lady with the braids asked us straightaway what do you want in French? trying to hurry us when we’ve only just walked into the bakery merely a few seconds ago and the bakery is empty. I told her just one second please and she seemed to have an attitude with us already. My mum then asked a minute later are these the only sandwiches you have to which she replied something to us in French in the same tone and annoyed face. This is absolutely disgusting behaviour, we’ve come into this bakery to try their delicious food and have met with hostility and anger and for what reason? I have no idea how this girl has kept her job if this is how she speaks to customers. It’s absolutely ridiculous in 2024 how you can get away with this kind of service. And when I was leaving I said to her I’m going to leave because you are being very rude and I don’t want to buy anything from this bakery anymore and she then rolled her eyes and mockingly waved at me and said ‘byee’ I have never in my life come across such unacceptable behaviour and I hope the employee in question will be put through...

A delicious range of pastries and croissants. The pain au chocolat are amazing, with rich, dark chocolate that melts beautifully inside a tender, golden pastry shell.

On the way to Fromagerie we saw this Boulangerie and wanted to buy a baguette. Upon entering the boulangerie deserts and baked goodies grabbed our attention. So in addition to the baguette we also took a Roule Pistache Chocolat. It was incredibly light and rich in flavour. Combination of chocolate and pistachio wrapped around with French dough was a perfect recipe. And then there was the traditional baguette. That damn baguette. It was without a doubt one of best baguette we've ever had. The flavour and the texture was simply incredible. Crunchy outside and puffy and soft inside together with that delightful flavour was enough to make it one of the greatest baguette we've ever had.

Never wrote that long of a review before, especially considering the fact that we bought only 2 items 😁That alone shows the greatness of this Boulangerie.
