LAO Pigalle — Restaurant in Paris

Cocktail quality is very poor. We ordered a total of four drinks and all were disgustingly sweet or so sour that one's mouth shriveled up. Simon was our bartender for the night. Beware he will reject customers (and their money) if they do not speak French despite the order being communicable (pointing at the menu they have available and holding up a finger to indicate how many). Simon refused to take my group's orders despite him serving other people, so I, the only Francophone, had to be the one ordering for my table during our time there. Not to mention, some patrons allowed into the establishment and served alcohol were of questionable age. Great space located right in Pigalle and even better drinks. We had their versions of Espresso Martini along & Margs, and it definitely hits the top of my list. The vibes are just right if you are looking for amazing drinks, great food, and vibey music (hiphop/throwbacks), especially if your night is just getting started. The owner and staff were all so hospitable and provided amazing suggestions around the neighborhood (Le Rouge) to extend my night. And... it can't be a Lao Bar without Beer Lao, right? Réservation faite pour 15 personnes en terrasse. Une fois arrivé l espace est en fait réservé pour 6 personnes. Une fois installé comme on peut et quelques temps après on nous demande de laisser place à des clients. La nourriture est top mais cher. Le service est lent et antipathique.

En addition , après la réponse du restaurant, je tiens a préciser que la réservation avait bien été faite a l extérieure (au vu des commentaires, visiblement vous oubliez régulièrement des réservations). Je vous accorde que c'etait bien 3h après que vous nous avez demandé de faire de la place et comme je vous ai dit aussi a ce moment là , plusieurs personnes etaient au bar en train de commander (car service trop lent au passage) donc les places n'étaient pas libre. Et pour info le verre s'est cassé accidentellement, aucune dispute de notre côté si ce n'est avec vous qui avez eu le culot de nous demander de céder qq places et de dire qu'on ne consommait pas assez alors que la facture s'est élevé a plus...
