Twining Tea Room — Restaurant in Paris

I used to love coming here, but it feels like the place has completely changed -it takes forever to order and to get served, the hot chocolate arrived cold to me, and the scones which were a delight before were salty. I asked for a change of plate, which I got, but it also took forever... Although the room was almost empty (there were only two other tables, one with a couple and two babies and one with two friends). Very disappointed. The waitress did not say either hello, or sorry for serving the chocolate cold... Not even good bye. I am sad to say I will not come back to this place I used to...

Frankly very disappointing. We came here for a proper cup of tea, thinking as it was a Twinnings establishment they would know how to correctly make tea. The whole experience was wildly over priced, €6 for a cup of tea. The real insult is when paying that much what they give you is not a pot of piping hot tea, where boiling water has been poured on top of the tea, but a pot of hot water with a partially filled tea bag sitting pathetically in a cup to the side. A loved this place, cozy and entertaining. The menu is rich and should satisfy any costumer. Many types of tea, coffee, hot & cold drinks. Three different seating area. Also has bathroom which was really busy! The service is good, I felt bad for the only young lady serving a very busy restaurant, yet the restaurant was clean. It is suitable for a quick bite, lunch, dinner and desserts. Also nice view if you want to sit and read a book or just enjoy a cup of tea.
