Busy little bakery located in the heart of Montmartre. We popped in for breakfast; a croissant and a flan vanille plus a coffee with milk and a hot chocolate- just over €11. The flan was lovely, very creamie.
The service was good, our order taken with a smile. All served on small wooden platters (trays).
There were a few tables with searing for about 24/25 diners. And unlike so many cafes and coffee shops in the UK, and my pet-hate, there were no tables with 'dead' platters, trays, cups or serviettes. It was nice & clean and simply decorated.

First of all, my bf paid the exact amount to her and she suddenly started telling him he looked lost and confused and acted like my bf paid her the wrong amount when he paid her exact. She made a counting mistake and pinned it on him. Secondly, I was in the line first but she simply ignored me and asked the person behind me what her order was and asked her to pay first. Thankfully, the manager at the time saw this happening and told her she had to follow the queue and attend to me first. The pastries were also not worth the entire experience at all. do...
Read moreIn Montmartre for a week, we settled on this place as our daily breakfast spot because they had the best coffee of the places we tried. Mostly viennoiseries rather than pastries but their forte is their bread and their coffee, I think. The atmosphere and service were inviting. If I had a criticism it would be the financier with pistachio had pistachio essence and the Chou wasn't great at all. But the Viennoiserie aux amandes was delicious and didn't have almond essence and of course the pain a chocolate was a staple for my son and it was legit good. We bought our evening baguette to make sandwiches here and it was great. You can also buy sandwiches here but they run out pretty quickly in...
