Love visiting this place and always do, at least once, every time I visit Disneyland. The staff are always good natured, well presented and full of energy. The food itself is absolutely cracking - simulating an American diner style menu, to match their quirky aesthetic from a snapshot in time. I consistently go for the Maxi Incredible; at this point proving to myself that I can finish it each time I go back! Just remember, if you do finish it - ask for your free shake! I've forgotten about it once or twice! There's easily accessible menus in many languages, and the staff will try their best to accommodate. Though of course, best practice is to warm up your French skills, which the staff appreciate! I recommend all burgers cooked blue. When in France, do as the French do, after all. 4 stars this time around - I'd be happy to leave 5, but we had a very long wait for our service, with people arriving after us getting their food before we even got our drinks (I think we fell between the cracks at a busy time/shift change). I also alerted our waiter to a dirty fork with our fresh cutlery. He quickly left with it, but never returned with another. I'll still come back next time, because everyone is allowed a bad day. Next time, though, clean cutlery and timely service will be on my watch list! Cheers!

First night of Disneyland and Annette's set one heck of a bar to raise over for the rest of the trip. Let's get the obvious out of the way. It was busy. Obviously, it's Disneyland. If you go ANYWHERE in the area and expect immediate service then what are you doing? Grow up and go back to Spoons. The place is HUGE! You're greeted by a 50's thirty foot woman? Much like a 50's diner the menu mostly consists of Hotdogs, Burgers, fries and shakes. They also offer a challenge, finish off a giant burger and win a free shake. Obvs I went for that. And good lord the burger was HUGE. If you eat the whole burger you win a free shake. I wouldn't say the food was top restaurant quality, but again...I stress, it's a diner. The service is quick, friendly and somehow you wouldn't actually realise you're surrounded by 100+ people as the tables and seating are incredibly spacious. Mussah, our waiter must have been the hardest worker I've ever witnessed, I think with us he must have been bussing about 50 tables and you couldn't tell with how tireless and well he performed the job. I'd easily go back and will look forward to doing so n all.

To start with the positives, the milkshakes were delicious and obviously the interior is really cool, as are the waiters on roller skates (not to nitpick because I know finding waiters who can roller skate seems a very niche employment criteria, but it feels a bit random that only a few of them do whilst everyone else goes around like normal. Would maybe prefer if all staff can’t then nobody does?). But aside from that, can’t say I’d revisit this place, especially as I heard the queues can get really long and I don’t think our experience would make a huge wait worthwhile. Thankfully we went off-season, and a couple of hours before the parks closed to avoid the queues I’ve heard about. My issue was mainly with the service which was basically non-existent. Firstly, I get that the larger tables have to be reserved for families and there were only 2 of us, but we were sat at a counter facing the wall rather than each other with the till area right next to us. At this time though, the upstairs area was closed off and there were lots of empty proper tables so clearly they were nowhere near capacity, and it would’ve been nice, given that this place is pretty pricey, to feel like we were having a proper sit down meal rather than a quick Starbucks. Secondly, although I know it’s likely the staff want to just get patrons in and out as quickly as possible, like I said, the restaurant was quiet at the time and there were plenty of staff huddled around right next to us chatting. Again, this isn’t an issue, the point is that after our order had been taken, which was not really done with much warmth or hospitality in the first place to be honest, there was 0 interaction after that. Not once did anyone come (even though they were right next to us!) to ask how the food was or if we’d like anything else etc. and we had to stop and ask 3 different members of staff for a jug of tap water before the one friendly, approachable staff member we encountered (shout out to Christina, lol) who wasn’t even assigned to our table finally brought it over. We also then had to go up to the till to pay for our food after sitting there with empty plates for about 20 minutes. All in all, the food was nice, but not worth the price, and the service wasn’t good. Maybe staff go the extra mile when it comes to serving families but at the end of the day, a customer is a customer, and we felt kind of forgotten. If we come to Disney village again, we’d probably give it a miss.

I’m not going to sugar coat it, this place was a little disappointing. No all-day breakfast, no large portions of greasy spoon goodness, and the majority of the menu is just burgers. The interior and exterior aesthetics are wonderful but misleading. My family and I got a few things to try. We ordered: - The Sampler, which is majority nachos sprinkled with cheese and nothing else. A few pieces of curry crusted chicken strips (why curry and why isn’t that annotated on the menu?). A couple of pieces of fried fish, hash brown medallions, and two pieces of what was labeled quesadillas. - A “plain” cheeseburger that unbeknownst to us came with a generous lathering of Annette’s sauce, which has a kick. - The quesadillas, which were small but very good. - The Rockabilly burger that was good but had a little too much nacho cheese on it for my taste. - The hash brown medallions. They were good. For all of this and a few sodas we paid €115. Overall, not a bad spot but way too expensive and not enough options. They need to widen the range of their menu if they are going to call themselves a diner. Also, they should annotate items that come with things that people aren’t naturally expecting the said items to contain (e.g., curry breaded chicken strips and a plain burger with Annette’s sauce. On the upside, the fries were delicious and each burger comes with fries, so they don’t à la carte you. P.S. They do special birthday shout outs over the loud speaker, if you go on your birthday.

Queue looks longer than it probably is! Two lines outside took about 20 mins to clear down. Diner style restaurant in the Village. Bright and airy, decent tables and facilities. I have the ‘challenge’ burger (can’t recall the name) which was visually very impressive, but a bit gritty and flat tasting. The milkshakes were again ok, but not malted and served with a bit of squirty cream. A bit basic really and if compared with somewhere like Byron Burger - not in the same league at all. The drinks are sometimes sold as ‘lemon’ - but in the case of sprite this means lemon added to sprite...! Very refreshing ! Staff very friendly and helpful - entertaining and indulging the kids nicely. Facilities nice and clean. But had someone else’s order appear at our table twice. It’s fair to say I found most places at DLP average. Not bad, not good, just ok. When you have food somewhere, the measure I have is ‘will I miss this place ?’ And with this one it’s a bit of a ‘no I won’t.’ That isn’t because it was bad; but because it just wasn’t great. It was nice, it rounded off our week and the novelty of staff serving on large shoulder trays and taking orders on skates was endearing. But if I visited DLP again - I’d try somewhere else there rather than be faithful to what I’ve known.

It is harder than one might think to get vegan food at #disneyland #vegandisneyland in 2024 so in the end I was surprised to find a proper vegan dish at all. When asking for vegan options both in Disneyland and Disney Studios I came across various cooks and servers that did not know what #vegan might mean, but they all tried to help 🥲🙂. Most of the #Disney restaurants do have one single vegan option indicated on their menu but than in the same dish they use meat and/or dairy 🤡👹. Anyway the vegan burger was yummy and every single ingredient was well balanced, fresh and had a very nice texture too. The fries were well salted and the best we had in Disneyland. In this Diner they even named the brand they got the #vegan meat and the vegan cheese from, the burger bun was different from the other burger buns around us and when bringing it the server noted again that this is the vegan burger. Oh and the kiwi jalapeño sauce was brilliant too. Highly recommended. And please try harder #disney #waltdisneyworldvegan ❤️
