🌳☔️ Rainforest Cafe Disney Village Paris ☔️🌳
During my time in Disneyland Paris I dined at the Rainforest Cafe in the Disney Village for two nights. Here’s what I thought…..
📍 Location 📍 Located at the far end of the Disney Village at Disneyland Paris. Ideal for something to eat after a long day in the park. Lots of other shops and restaurants in the area as well.
🌳 Arrival 🌳 Can be busy. There’s a worker at the front door sending you through the Rainforest gift shop into the restaurant. We did not have to wait for a table but I’d say this place can get very busy.
🐘🙈 Decor 🙈🐘 The restaurant is nicely decorated with different animals and forestry. The animals move and make noises. Every 25/30 minutes you hear the sound of thunder as if a rain storm is about to start. Great way to keep kids and adults entertained.
🍟🥤 Food and Drink 🥤🍟 Good selection of food and drink. Something that everyone will eat. Drinks menu is great aswell. We had the pitcher of frozen margaritas. Between 3 of us we got about 2 drinks each. The first night we could definitely taste more alcohol in the drink than the second night. Food wise we ordered the starters nachos which were humongous, the ribs, a vegetable pasta and the chicken fajitas. On the second night majority of the guests ordered the same food however I opted for the chicken Parmesan which on the menu states it comes with a tomato sauce. However the pasta was in a white creamy sauce which was not noted on the menu. Served just gave us a bowl of tomato pasta sauce. The sparkling volcano desert was nice. However menu says chocolate cake when it’s actually just 4 brownies with some icecream.
💼 Staff 💼 Friendly. Understood English language very well. One big red flag was when we saw a waiter even out French fries from one plate to another with his bare hands. No gloves. No washing his hands before. This is pretty disgusting.
Overall, I would eat here again. Food was good, price is ok considering where it is located. Quick service which is great when you’re starving after a day at Disney. Wish waiter didn’t touch food...
Read moreWe chose this place because it was recommended as gluten free friendly. We ordered steaks with a side dish, asked for well-done, but juicy. I want to say right away that the waiter's service was excellent,it was young guy. That's where all the positives end. The steaks they brought were literally burnt and dry as a sole, especially one of them, an expensive dish, which had shrimp as a side dish. Guys, if you don't know how to cook a steak, it doesn't mean that other people don't know how it should be! in addition, the dish was different from the picture, in the picture there was a steak on the whole plate, and in the dish they brought there was a steak as if it was cut in half, it was so small, the size of a child's palm. This dish came with shrimp, 3 pieces, and they were so brazen that they put 2 shrimp and a shrimp head on the plate! A shrimp head, can you imagine that in an expensive restaurant? So we immediately returned the dish to the kitchen. After which an unhappy administrator came to us and started asking what was wrong, forcing us to take something else, and I did not like this pressure on us, we decided not to risk it, because you don’t know if they will spit in your plate with your next order. The atmosphere is surprising at first, but while you are sitting there, it starts to get annoying, because it is noisy and there are constant flashes of light, in the semi-darkness. + it is very cold from the air conditioners. They probably came up with the semi-darkness so that the flaws in the food would not be visible, but this is not about me, I strictly monitor what my child eats and what I eat, and these dishes did not cost 30+ euros. for the same money in the center of Paris we got a huge ribeye steak, juicy, with a side dish. and here it was just a mockery, because supposedly Disneyland and you actually have no choice, especially if you are gluten-free, but there is a choice even there. Would...
Read moreWe visited the Rainforest Café on Wednesday 15, 2025, after a recommendation by a friend.
We were seated close to the elephants and served by a waiter dressed as a ranger, and a girl with dark hair. We ordered a (free) table water, the Taco Salad and the Rainforest Burger.
--Food-- The Taco Salad looked incredible. The cheese was tasty and the sour cream really complemented the guacamole. We loved the dish, although the dough bowl was a bit bland and the beans should - in our opinion - have been mixed inside the salad instead of being at the very bottom. Overall a good dish that we would definitely order again, though. The burger was good as well, and everything you'd expect from a 24 euro burger. The fries were actually good as well; we found them to taste better than other fries we've had around Paris. We were also happy to see multiple sauces offered at the table, including a very tasty barbecue sauce!
Experience-wise, we really liked the design of the rainforest café. Everything is so well in theme, with a lot of plants and animals! Even the tables had specific prints on them. We were amazed by the occasional 'thunderstorms'. At random occasions, thunder was heard, the lights started to flash and sound effects of distressed elephants were played.
--Pricing-- We were hesitant of going into the café, as we found the dishes served here a bit pricey. We do understand the pricing given the reputation of the Rainforest Café and the location in Disney Village, however.
--Customer service-- In terms of customer service, we had to wait a little while before the 'ranger' waiter came to take our orders. Afterwards, a friendly woman came to bring our dishes. We asked her at some point to take a picture of us, which she did. She offered to take a picture of us in front of the elephants when the other customers were gone too. Great customer service, which added to the...
