I recently visited and had a really disappointing experience due to the behavior of one of the waitresses, Gvantsa. It was clear from the get-go that she wasn't interested in giving us good service. Even though there were plenty of empty tables, she refused to let us sit down, which was frustrating. She was rather immature and had a complete lack of hospitality.
But what really shocked me was when she refused to serve a customer based on their race. It was just awful. Not only did she turn them away, but she also made fun of them behind their back. It was really hurtful to see that kind of behavior in a place that survives on Tourism!
On top of everything else, the service was painfully slow. We waited over 45 minutes for just two portions of fries facing the bar where the bartender looked like he was fed up on his job – I mean, come on, it's fries, not some intricate culinary masterpiece! If they can't handle such a basic order efficiently, then what hope is there for anything else on the menu?
After enduring the terrible service and the appalling behavior of the waitress, we decided to cut our losses. We had our drinks, paid the bill, and got out of there as quickly as we could. It's a shame that your experience in such a beautiful country can be ruined by some rotten people . Save yourself the trouble and steer clear...
Read moreWe had dinner there, and people were smoking! The outside space was super cramped up, though thankfully the heater was own. Beggars were constantly coming to our table to ask for money, and we didn’t even feel secure. The service was the worst we have ever seen, we ordered three dishes a chicken lavashe sandwich, and chicken BBQ, along with garlic bread. The chicken lavash sandwich was good, a long and small Sandwich which filled with chicken, that comes with no sides or sauce. The chicken BBQ barely had five small pieces. The quantity of the meals were super small. The garlic bread from the ‘two minute meal’ sections actually took around two hours to cook. It took so long that the garlic bread came fully burnt, looking black, and crispy like chips, not soft or how it should be. When we told the waiter this, he said this is how the garlic bread should be, as if we don’t know what garlic bread is. The staff is trying to trick us and defend themselves by saying the garlic bread should be burnt and like toast. The quantity of the garlic bread was also too little compared to the price we paid. Not at all value for money, bad atmosphere, even worse service and staff attitude, and terrible food. Would NEVER recommend, worst restaurant in Tbilisi, an absolute waste of money and a tourist trap. Over rated restaurant, that is not...
