This is my 3rd time to travel and first time to Georgia and check in at the hotel Marlyn.
I received my first time ever bad treatment from one specific staff. Because of my worst first night check in, I gave a bad reviews, then next day in the morning that person yelled at me in front of foods (breakfast area) and other guests pointed his/her finger, saying thank you in sarcastic way and keep staring at us in a bad way. Not once but twice she did. 4th floor and lobby.
Rather than to greet and tell her/his name and be professional to address the issue, misunderstanding or miscommunication in between, that person prefer to threatened us if I will not delete it. My friends are scared and beg me to delete while we are there. So I did.
I do believe the management are lack of customer service training. Their culture, religion or tradition is not excuse to be rude in your guests so that we are the one who need to adjust. You are in the hospitality industry periodt.
Be careful to that one staff, just ignore her/him and don't waste your time to ruin your vacation. I choose to be quite because we are with our friends and this is their first travel. If we were not with them and if it's not because of very accomodating brother Nante, I'd rather to change our hotel just because of that rude staff.
This comment is not for her/him to get terminated, but hope the management take atleast disciplinary action towards of what happened. There is a staff who witnessed of she/he did, but no one approached us from the hotel.
Overall the hotel is very clean and quite even it's near in the protest area, it is safe. Might some staff is not informative, some rooms doesn't have bidet, for the tourist who have stomach issue and bidet is a must for you, before you accept the door key, make sure you're feel comfortable and deal to stay.
The staff in 4th floor are more accomodating and friendly. Amor is welcoming and helpful.
Nice location and after tour you can...
Read moreThe location is perfect, especially for those who love to explore the area after a day tour. Everything is close by—stores, bars, and restaurants are all within easy reach.
The staff are very friendly, particularly those in the cafeteria. The food is good as well; however, a small suggestion would be to rotate the menu every two or three days to add some variety.
The room was also great—clean and well-organized. We did have a minor issue with the socket, but overall, it was a good experience.
A nice bonus was the weighing scale on the ground floor, which was very convenient for checking our luggage before departure.
Reception staff were also helpful. A little more warmth, like smiling and greeting guests as they arrive or leave, would make the experience even better. At times, we felt hesitant to say hello because we weren’t sure how it would be received.
Overall, it was an amazing experience and we highly recommend this place. We hope to...
