Very disappointed in this place. Probably good food and previous reviews showed promise. Our observation was that they seem to be amazing to their regulars. We came into the restaurant with a reservation and they moved a couple that was bear the door to a nicer table and put us in a table at the entrance which was quite cramped. We thought this was ok and justified it, however 15mins after sitting down we still didn't have menus, 40mins after sitting down, they still hadn't said a word to us or come to take our food or drinks order. Meanwhile people who had come in after us were served promptly and they were so friendly - e.g. a guy sat down and they were served drinks almost instantly and food shortly after. They were so attentive to their regulars too. I don't know if this I because I am darker in skin colour having an indian-portuguese background and my partner is caucasian. I don't want to say they were being racist but it was not a pleasant experience at all. Seeing previous reviews being so positive about the service makes me question the treatment we received further. We ended up leaving after 45mins of no service, unfortunately. Was really looking forward to their food but it was quite...

Horrible service, that it even made me cry from their rudeness and made us feel ashamed in front of all the customers. We are hoteliers graduated from Switzerland, hospitality it’s our passion. The Restaurant is usually empty, apart from the weekends and we always support their business by taking a seat and having something to attract customers since we are their neighbors. We went to the restaurant waited outside for somebody to come to us, nobody came, we came inside and waited standing up for a while, nobody came. We took a seat in one of the 5 empty tables, we waited. Then, an old lady with short blond hair with a very very bad mood shouted to us to leave immediately since we have had no reservation. She literally kicked us out of the restaurant without hospitality. My husband even tried to talk to her nicely and tell her that we understand and we would appreciate if she could be gentle, but she just kept shouting ans asking us to leave. Never again supporting this local business. I hope they survive with their...

Great spot for a mix of French, German and Alsace cuisine. My friend and I dined here and were warmly welcomed and shown to our table quickly.

We started with a tarte flambée with onions, cheese and bacon; it was crisp and well seasoned and creamy, the rich flavour offset with a glass of crémant.

This was followed by a delicious platter of frogs legs cooked in butter and garlic (delicious) and crusty bread. We ended our meal by sharing a veal escalope accompanied by frites (skinny fries) and a dressed salad, washed down with a glass of French red wine.

The food was very rich but it felt appropriate for the weather and the portions were made for sharing so we could try different things.

The service was lovely, the ladies who own/ manage (?) the restaurant were welcoming despite it being so busy. Very centrally located (as is most places in Baden Baden) and while the decor is more rustic, it was in keeping with...

The place is tiny with maybe 30-35 covers. The staff is wonderful and works very hard. They are super attentive. It must be run by family because I heard one patron tell the waitress to tell her husband that everything was delicious. The food was average. The menu is quite limited and two items I wanted to order were not available that night for dinner. The molten chocolate dessert was cold, not typically how it is served. The carpaccio was average. The chicken breast was nice but not particularly flavorful. The tagliatelli with shrimp was quite nice with just a hint of heat. The best item we ordered was the goat cheese with honey salad. Dinner came to over 80€. I preferred the restaurant across the street when it came down to it. But really the service was just divine. I wish every restaurant had such nice service.

I do not recommend it. The restaurant is for 2 and that's the maximum. The food is not tasty, the interior is old and shabby, the service is long and not attentive. We chose this restaurant because we thought it was French cuisine and it was supposed to be delicious, but alas! We took tart flambe with salami. There were only 3 pieces of salami on 8 pieces of tart. How is this even possible?! A large salad was dressed with some kind of sauce with mayonnaise, absolutely unacceptable. The composition of the salad left much to be desired, right there you have champignons, oranges and plastic tomatoes. The terrine from fouagre was normal. The pasta with truffle oil and vegetables, as you can guess, was absolutely truffle-free. We will not return, and we do not recommend it.
