Aki Tatsu Sushi & more — Restaurant in Berlin

Well what an appalling experience that was! I ordered a delivery here via LIeferando this evening. When it arrived I noticed the karage chicken was missing. I called the restaurant immediately to tell them and they said I am mistaken and I should check again. I told them absolutely 100% it isn't there and the man just said "check again, it's there". I said that I can take a photo to show them the full contents. They simply said again I was wrong and that they were sure of it. It was only 4€ chicken - why on earth would I lie about this?! I just wanted the chicken. I then said they can come to my house and see for themselves. Nope, I am wrong and that's it apparently, the man said something about "checking again" and then hung up. Then someone from Lieferando called me to say said they would refund the 4€. I said I would prefer to have the chicken, so he said ok we'll organise that. Then he called back again to say the restaurant refused to deliver it to me. I'm in shock at how they can treat customers like this. I did nothing wrong and I was basically accused of being a liar over 4€ chicken...and I'm still hungry. Also, the food that they did actually give me was AVERAGE at best. The gyoza were soggy and not tasty and the roll was bland.. Miso was the only saving grace, but you'd have to be trying pretty hard to screw that...

The waitress was friendly, speaks English and provided great service.

The miso soup was delicious and sushi was fresh, well prepared and presented.

The Trà chanh đá (Ice tea) was refreshing and is an absolute winner.

I initally gave them 5 stars unfortunately we went back the next day and the Trà chanh đá wasn't the same as the previous day. The previous day it contained herbs which was now lacking and now it had more lime juice and less sugar and tasted like watered down lime juice.

I also ordered a dish with tiger prawns and was served a dish containing queen prawn meat, so unfotunately I had to edit the review down to 3 stars for lack of consistency and not serving what was advertised on the menu.

I would however still recommend it for the sushi which...

Rude staff, long wait, horrible service, do not recommend at all.

We had to wait for about 10 minutes before a waiter came to us to ask what we want.

Moreover, after we seated at table for 4 people (with tables still available for more people to come), the waiter came to us rather quickly and told us that we cannot sit there. The table is supposedly for 4 people group, and we can't occupy it (there were 2 of us). We asked why this is a case, since there are a couple of tables already occupied with 2 people, but with 4 seats. The waiter responded with 'they have been seating there for awhile' excuse. Didn't make sense at all.

Do not recommend at all. There are far better sushi places around, we thought to give this one a try, but apparently it is...
