Baharat Falafel — Restaurant in Berlin

I am a falafel skeptic but my wife is a serious falafel optimist. I have only had refrigerated falafel before which now explains my previous antipathy. The falafel here is a completely different beast: it has a delightfully aromatic yet crisp umami satisfying flavour and the sesame sauce is a vegan upgrade on mayonnaise. Woww I’m so happy I found this restaurant! I’m Lebanese visiting Berlin for a few days and I had a craving for falafel… not a lot of options in Berlin but this restaurant did more than satisfy my craving! The owner is such a nice person! You can see he truly cares for his clients. Ordered the big shawarma sandwich through wolt. Honestly, it was the most disappointing shawarma i had my entire life. Chicken tasted weird and way too oily, no garlic paste, no tahini, barely any pickles, not even chilli (which are all listed in the description). Had to throw most of it unfortunately. As a lebanese, im super disappointed with this very "sad" shawarma sandwich. Not to mention the tabouleh that had no sauce whatsoever. SUPER dry! Sadly, never again...
