I kept noticing something appealing about this place but it was also always advertising Italian pasta dishes & I seldom like Italian restaurants. I finally tried it because a nearby place was closed, and yes, of course it's actually Russian. But more importantly, everything we had was super tasty, very fresh ingredients. A great borscht & the best blinis I've ever had, which is saying something (though maybe not THAT much since I've only had them about 5-9 places before.) It's also the best 2-course lunch I've had since Pierre Victoire ran his £5 deals in Edinburgh in the 1990s. This one is €10 and only 2 courses, but hey, PV went bankrupt in the end. You can order vodka if you really want a third course. (I haven't tried...
