Café La Perle — Restaurant in Berlin

If you are on a sightseeing tour around Berlin, than the best way is to go by the Metro, called U-Bahn, which you can find everywhere in the inner city. One simple station with a real hidden name is the Hausvoigteiplatz, which is very close to the much more and famous Gendarmenmarkt with rich and very classic ambient. Just at the western exit of the U-Bahn station you can find this pretty and small coffee-shop. They offer a good and not to expensive breakfast with a good cup of coffee. Also they have good cakes ... after full meal your are ready for sightseeing! Enjoy it...

I have been getting bread rolls here in the mornings on my way to the office and I thought it would be great to have breakfast here on a weekend. While it is good value for the money, there are a few things we didnt like - ie you have to order at the Bar; tables were still full of used plates and we had to ask to take them away but table wasnt cleaned afterwards, cutlery was dirty, staff wasnt too friendly rather stressed though it was not that busy.

However, could be a one off - everyone has a stressful day every...

Coffee was good. Cheesecake was inedible. Cake selection (basically none) and taste really needs some work, looks all cheap, old (not fresh), fake stuff that you buy from Aldi. Nothing homemade, and if it is, it really really needs some work. Had to throw away the cheesecake because it tasted so bad. That being said, the salty + breakfast food they offer looked pretty good. But I wouldn't go back just because of the worst cheesecake I've ever...
