EINSTEIN KAFFEE — Restaurant in Berlin

Einstein Kaffee in Berlin, Germany is a charming café that is a great place to relax in a traditional atmosphere. It serves various coffees, teas and other beverages, plus pastries and cakes.

I stopped here for a coffee after shopping at the huge Galeries Lafayette half a block away. The place was not full and I was served promptly. I did ask for milk in my coffee and it was black when I got the cup, so I had to walk up to the counter and ask for a small amount of hot milk.

Einstein Kaffee definitely is better than the McDonald’s of Coffee, Starbucks. The prices are comparable, but you get a large ceramic coffee cup with saucer, and it is less sterile than a Starbucks.

Stopped by Einstein's for my morning cappuccino. Don't confuse Einstein Kaffe with the Einstein's/ Caribou Coffee you may be fond of state side. Einstein's Kaffe Cappuccino's are far superior. The service was great. The Barista spoke very good English. Certainly better than my German. I rated Einstein a 4 based on the food selection and a decent butter croissant.
