If you’re a matcha lover in Berlin, Lap is an absolute must-visit. I’ve been coming here regularly, and every time it feels like a little escape into calm, clean aesthetics and high-quality drinks. The entire vibe of the place is minimal, stylish, and welcoming—perfect for a quick break or catching up with a friend.

My absolute favorite is their Strawberry Matcha—it’s perfectly balanced, not too sweet, with fresh strawberry flavor blending beautifully with the earthy matcha. It’s refreshing, unique, and addictive in the best way.

Lap also offers a range of signature matcha drinks that you won’t find anywhere else. Two standouts for me are the Blueberry Matcha, which has a naturally sweet twist, and the Collagen Matcha, which is not only tasty but also adds a little wellness boost. They clearly take pride in their ingredients and presentation—everything is always made with care.

Whether you’re new to matcha or a long-time fan, Lap makes it easy to explore new flavor combinations while enjoying high-quality matcha done right.

Really nice spot overall! The bagel sandwiches were absolutely delicious, but none of them had labels, so I had to ask what each one was — having clear signage would definitely help. The prices were surprisingly low, which was a big plus.

The seating area, however, felt quite small. It would’ve been great to have a bit more space to sit and enjoy the food. Also, the “big” coffee size seemed to be around 400ml, which felt more like a medium to me — I’d love the option of a truly large cup next time!
