Mimi Tea - Bubble Tea Berlin Mitte — Restaurant in Berlin

If you have food allergies, do not buy anything at this store. I want to report a severe situation that happened to me on Oct. 8th at the Berlin Mitte shop. A friend and I went there at around 17.30 to get bubble teas - I ordered a Japanese Matcha Milk Tea with oat milk, because I'm allergic to lactose. I asked the girl if oat milk was available (I specifically asked for Hafermilch, in German) and she said yes. But unfortunately, she prepared it with normal milk, without telling me or saying anything. We left the store and started to walk, while drinking our bubble teas.

10 minutes into it I started to feel bad, so I called the number on Google maps to ask what kind of milk was used on my milk tea. A woman picked up, at first she thought I wanted to order delivery, but then I asked her about the oat milk. She didn't understand my question. By then I was feeling really sick so I had to take an Uber home so I didn't pass out in the street. After two and half hours of feeling extremely sick and in pain, I finally started to feel better.

How is this even possible? This is not acceptable at all. With the wrong bubble tea €4,30 + the Uber ride €18,42 I spent €22,72 for getting an allergic reaction at your store. Food allergies are a serious issue, this simply...

Aufgrund der guten Bewertungen wollten wir heute mal Mimi Tea ausprobieren. Der Laden liegt recht zentral in der Innenstadt. Wenn man mit dem Auto kommt, könnte dies problematisch werden mit der Parkplatzsuche. Der Laden an sich ist winzig klein, man übersieht ihn fast. Wie gewohnt von unseren anderen Bubbleteastammläden kamen wir mit unseren eigenen Thermobechern, um die Umwelt zu schonen. Die Bestellung wurde vom Mitarbeiter aufgenommen und auf die Bitte hin, die Tees in unsere Becher zu füllen, fragte der Mitarbeiter: "Wie soll ich das denn machen?!" Nach dem Bezahlen sollten wir dann draußen warten. Mehere Kunden stellten sich zwischenzeitlich an, gaben dann die Warterei aber auf. Wir standen dort eine gefühlte Ewigkeit in der Kälte, als der Mitarbeiter aus dem Laden kam und sagte, die Tapioka wären aus. Wir sollen uns was anderes aussuchen. Also: Aloe Vera. Auch ausverkauft (Wir waren am Nachmittag dort, Ladenschluss also noch lange nicht in Sicht). O.K., dann Apfelboba. Wieder ca. 15 Min. warten. Dann ENDLICH die Tees fertig. Entgegen unserer Erwartung nicht in unseren mitgebrachten Bechern. Der Mitarbeiter: "Das sind Becher von ComebuyTea!" Fraglich, ob er es jetzt als unhöflich empfand, dass wir Becher von der Konkurrenz dabei hatten. Ich interpretiere es jedenfalls so. Ehrlich gesagt, ist es doch absolut egal, wo die Becher her kommen, wenn damit die Umwelt geschont werden kann! Gekauft haben wir in dem Moment doch bei ihm. Absolutes Unverständnis! Als wir beim Gehen waren, entschuldigte der Mitarbeiter sich noch sehr halbherzig, er dürfe das eben nicht machen. Wir waren aber quasi schon weg. Der Tee war übrigens gut. Manchmal steht und fällt alles mit dem Service. Wir werden definitiv nicht wieder...
