Roststatte Berlin is a must-visit for any caffeine fiend in the city. This place hands down has the best espresso I's found in Berlin so far. Rich, bold, and oh-so-satisfying - it's a perfect way to kickstart your day. And let me tell you, their cheesecake is next-level fabulous. Like, seriously good. Creamy, dreamy, and the perfect complement to that amazing espresso. Roststatte might not be fancy, but it delivers big on flavor. So, if you're looking for a killer espresso and a delicious cheesecake, this is your spot! ❤️

I had a croissant and a cappuccino for breakfast. I loved the coffee, but I can’t say the same for the croissant. It was too doughy and definitely not in the style of a French croissant. I was expecting it to be flakier and more layered. I sat inside, and the atmosphere was really pleasant—perfect for reading a book. The staff were also friendly and welcoming. Since I liked the coffee, I might come back another time just for coffee and dessert.

I always stop by when I’m at Hackesher Markt as it’s away from the busy streets and tucked away inside hackesher hof. Their coffee roasts are great. They’ve got a decent selection with a variety different taste profiles from different countries and even feature some limited edition beans. Love that they use and brew their own beans. Highly recommend if you are a coffee lover and you are looking for a coffee to go or some beans to take home.

Unfortunately I had a very poor experience due to one of the staff members being absolutely impolite. She had made a mistake in the bill which I made her immediately notice nicely, misunderstands happen and it’s not a big deal. The extra coffee she charged had not been made yet so it did not even go to waste. Instead of apologising she threw a full-on rant accusing me of having definitely ordered what she billed (why should one order two coffees for one person 😂), in a very passive aggressive manner, insisting multiple times. Completely inappropriate and unnecessary. Please train you employees that no customers want to deal with their bad...

Near Hackescher Markt, there are so many coffee shops, but Röststätte has become my favorite. It's quite simple actually: nice, attentive staff who listen carefully to what you want to order. I work nearby and often order filter coffee here. It tastes great and I’m not lectured that I shouldn’t pour milk into my filter coffee. In many coffee shops nowadays, they dictate how you should drink your coffee - I really don’t like it when someone tells me how I should enjoy something. Here, the world is still normal. The girls at the counter and bar are always very polite and nice, and I always enjoy coming...

Ordered a cappuchino. What I got was a coffee with some milk in it. First I thought the barista had just got my order wrong. But then it turned out that they had absolutely no idea about espresso based coffee drinks (which they have on their menu). They obviously also didn't know how to make steamed milk, foam or microfoam which would be essential for any coffee shop, especially one that offers barista course on their website. So if you feel like paying nearly 4€ for mediocre lukewarm coffee with some milk in it, that's the place to go. Nice...
