If you're a steak lover, then Asador is a must-visit destination in Berlin. From the moment I walked in, I knew I was in for a treat. The ambiance was cozy and inviting, perfect for a steakhouse. But the real star of the show was the Tomahawk steak, which was one of the best I've ever had. The steak was cooked to perfection, with a nice crust on the outside and juicy, tender meat on the inside. The flavor was simply out of this world, and I loved the presentation on the wooden board. The service was also impeccable, with attentive and knowledgeable servers who were happy to answer any questions I had. I highly recommend Asador for anyone looking for a great steak in Berlin. Great accidental find, chosen purely because it was close to our hotel and I figured I'd be able to get some vegetables with my food. We both had the fillet mingon, which comes in 2 sizes (I had the larger), cooked medium-rare, which was melt in your mouth and a red wine sauce that I could have drank a litre of. From the start the staff were friendly, professional and accomodating. Service was fast, wine was delicious and the steak made me hum and dance in my seat. The waiter even gave me a nice free shot of lemoncello for afters, which I came back to after getting cash from the machine (it's cash only), which was a pleasant surprise. I'll be back when i next visit Berlin for certain!

Let me start this review by stating- I know good food. I’ve had some very good food and some amazing service while in Berlin. This restaurant was not one of those experiences. I do have the words for the anger and disappointment I felt after I was done with my meal here. If it was possible to submit a zero star review, I would. My reservation was at 8:30 and we arrived on time. We were seated and then waited for about 20 minutes for our waiter to take our drink order. We then put in our appetizers and entree choices. The waiter messed up our appetizer order and after waiting over 90 minutes we never received the empanadas we ordered but instead two of another appetizer. The caprese was not serve with balsamic vinegar and the mozzarella was too salty, an unfortunate issue that was pervaded the entirety of the meal. It took another 45-50 minutes for our entrees to be brought out and another 5-10 minutes for our sides and the sauces we ordered to accompany the meal to be brought out. The steak was subpar, undercooked, and lacked any of the amazing qualities that I had read about in reviews. You could have gotten a better steak at Texas Roadhouse. At no point during our meal did our waiter come and check to see if we were in need of anything; if we wanted a refill; or if we were enjoying our meal. At some point the manager came over to apologize since we were visibly annoyed. We informed him about our waiters lack of attention towards us and how we needed refills on our drinks while we continued to wait for our food. Not even then were we offered refills on our drinks until we had to wave the waiter down and ask. After we finished our meals, they asked if we would wanted dessert but I had to go back to my hotel since I was running the marathon the next morning. Our sodas were comped off the bill and that was the only compensation offered to us. Then on the receipt the waiter had the AUDACITY to let us know that tip wasnt included, as if this is the level of service that demands a tip. All in all, we spent 2 hours 40 minutes in this restaurant. Of that 2 hours 20 minutes was spent waiting. Go find a hole in the wall place instead of eating here. It is not worth it.

"IN GERMANY, WE GIVE TIPS" - my "memory" of Steakhouse ASADOR. Please read my review patiently; I hope no one will ever experience this again. And I hope the owner considers raising the wage for waiters so they don't have to experience bad feelings while working. Writing this review/report has taken me a while, as the experience at Steakhouse ASADOR left me with a negative feeling. It was meant to be a relaxed birthday dinner in Berlin, away from chain restaurants like Blockhouse. With its 4.5-star rating and over 3,000 reviews, we decided to try Steakhouse ASADOR. Unfortunately, we encountered discrimination and rude treatment from the waiter. Surprisingly, the steakhouse only accepted cash payments. Initially, the waiter was friendly, but as the restaurant got busier, he became less attentive. The food could have been better, neither exceptional nor terrible. But I agree the price is fair for steak. When it came time to pay, I assumed I could use my card but was informed it was a "CASH ONLY" place. After a long wait for the bill, I handed the exact amount plus a small tip. Because we honestly did not prepare that much cash and we ordered a bit over our original plan 🥲 and it was a stormy day, so we did not want to go extra to get more cash for a “Meh” service. The waiter aggressively questioned the amount, stating, "IN GERMANY, WE GIVE TIP.. if only this much, please just take it back." He returned the change, leaving me speechless. It was disheartening to witness a seemingly friendly waiter turn aggressive. Again, I hope the restaurant owner should consider addressing these issues by increasing wages, implementing a service charge, and fixing the card reader. I encourage reading the 1-2 star reviews, as others have also expressed concerns about the waiter's intimidating attitude towards tipping. Oh Goshh... it's just horrible thinking and writing about this experience. I hope you found my review and think twice before choosing this place, or maybe just bring more cash for tipping.

Edit: After coming here again, the service really dropped and they changed the card, I had to take the spanish grassland pork and it wasn't seared nor salted. Thus I have to lower my stellar review. Also no more smoothie or nice dessert, only your standard soft drinks and ice cream. Service was fast but a bit weird. Overall, I won't come again sadly Also wtf with the waiter giving my change back, he tried to give me less for some reason. Excellente viande, perso j'ai pris le truc imprononçable : Txto... (vache grasse askip) et c'etait genial (attention si vous n'aimez pas salé, demandez moins de sel dessus), les frites etaient pas mal et en dessert je recommand l'ananas grillé (Grilled pineapple).

Wir hatten das Vergnügen, das ASADOR Steakhouse zu besuchen und waren absolut begeistert von unserem Besuch. Auf Empfehlung des Chefs bestellten wir das T-Bone-Steak Dry Aged, und es stellte sich als die beste Entscheidung heraus, die wir hätten treffen können. Unser Kellner Jakup hat wirklich den besten Job für uns getan und uns ein unvergessliches Erlebnis bereitet. Von dem Moment an, als wir das Restaurant betraten, wurden wir herzlich begrüßt und fühlten uns sofort willkommen. Jakup war äußerst kenntnisreich und leidenschaftlich, als er uns über die verschiedenen Steakoptionen auf der Speisekarte informierte. Als unser T-Bone-Steak schließlich serviert wurde, waren wir überwältigt. Es war perfekt zubereitet, saftig und unglaublich zart. Der Geschmack des Dry-Aged-Fleisches war einfach himmlisch und übertraf all unsere Erwartungen. Jeder Bissen war ein Genuss für die Sinne. Jakup sorgte dafür, dass es uns während des gesamten Abends an nichts fehlte. Er war aufmerksam, freundlich und immer bereit, all unsere Fragen zu beantworten. Seine Leidenschaft für das Essen und die Gastfreundschaft war offensichtlich und trug zu unserem insgesamt unvergesslichen Erlebnis bei. Die Atmosphäre im ASADOR Steakhouse war ebenfalls hervorragend. Das rustikale und dennoch elegante Ambiente schaffte eine einladende Atmosphäre, in der wir uns wohl fühlten. Der Service war makellos, das Personal war professionell und das gesamte Team arbeitete zusammen, um sicherzustellen, dass jeder Gast eine erstklassige Erfahrung hatte. Wir können das ASADOR Steakhouse nicht genug loben. Das T-Bone-Steak Dry Aged war einfach köstlich und Jakup hat uns ein unvergessliches kulinarisches Erlebnis beschert. Wenn Sie auf der Suche nach exzellentem Essen, exzellentem Service und einer unvergleichlichen Atmosphäre sind, dann sollten Sie definitiv das ASADOR Steakhouse besuchen.
