This is one bad place. Been there with a large group and reserved a big table. Reservation was good, location and place are quite nice. For drinks only I think this is actually a good place.
Here comes the bad: food and service.
The food was simply not on par with the options in the region. The antipasti was great but small, the pizza was big but bad (dry, overcooked, ingredients were okay.)
But the worst part was the service. The waiters were super unfriendly. Some of us were English speaking and had questions regarding the menu which seemed to bother the waiter („its on the menu“ - duh, but in German.)
Then we waited an hour for the food to be served between the appetizers and the mains. What the hell?
At the end: Splitting the bill, or even getting the bill was a challenge itself. Called them SIX times to get the bill as we had to head to an event. Took them 25mins to get it. Huh?!
So, big group - all closeby neigbours from the venue and pretty familiar with the quality in the area (Standard Pizza is outstanding, Sababa is simply lovely, der Hahn ist tot! absolutely great) - extremely disappointed.
Sorry, a no go place for everyone...
Read moreI went there on a week night with my date. Starter (Vorspeise) of burrata was clearly overpriced, considering the quality of products (discount tomatoes and mozzarella). Sitting outside, it took no less than an hour after our arrival to get mains, which were much disappointing compared to our other experiences with Italian food in Berlin.
I went inside after 40min waiting to ask for mains, and the manager’s reply was only : « Your friend was served just right now ». No apologizing or gesture whatsoever, while we had just been waiting all along outside with nothing else than wine.
Let’s just say that it was a pricy (6€50 for 1L water, or 11€50 for that burrata, really ?), disappointing meal all over, no matter how gentle and kind our own waiter could have been. All in all, bad management and cheap cuisine were my main thoughts about these...
Read moreFirst of all, the staff are wonderful. They are most wonderfully kind, you feel welcome the moment you're inside. They are practically fluent in German, English and Italian and maybe other languages too. 5/5
The food is great as well. The menu features several Sardinian dishes and has a big enough selection that everyone can get what they like, without overwhelming you with options. The food is prepared with love for the history, for the ingredients and for cooking in general. Also, not expensive at all. Well worth the money. 5/5
Great atmosphere indoors. The interior design and music is fitting for the theme while still remaining stylish. The overall experience is great and if I had the possibility, I would eat...
