I had an unforgettable dining experience at Restaurant Beirut in Cologne! The moment I stepped in, I was captivated by the vibrant and inviting atmosphere. The restaurant exudes an authentic Lebanese charm that instantly transports you to the heart of Beirut. The ambiance is a perfect blend of modern elegance and traditional warmth. The dimly lit space, adorned with tasteful Middle Eastern decor, creates an intimate setting that's perfect for any occasion. Whether it's a romantic date night or a gathering with friends, Restaurant Beirut sets the mood flawlessly. Now, let's talk about the star of the show—the food! Every dish I tried was a masterpiece. The menu boasts an impressive array of Lebanese cuisine, each dish bursting with flavor. The mezes were a delightful start, showcasing a medley of flavors from creamy hummus to perfectly spiced falafel. For the main course, I couldn't resist ordering the mixed grill platter. The skewers of succulent meats, marinated to perfection, were a carnivore's dream. The aromas and tastes were simply divine, and the portions were generous. To complement the meal, the wine selection was impeccable, offering a variety of Lebanese and international options. The attentive and knowledgeable staff were more than happy to recommend the perfect wine to pair with our meal. The service at Restaurant Beirut deserves special praise. The staff were not only attentive but also passionate about sharing the culinary traditions of Lebanon. Their warm hospitality added an extra layer of enjoyment to the dining experience. In conclusion, Restaurant Beirut in Cologne is a culinary gem that deserves to be celebrated. From the inviting ambiance to the exquisite dishes and impeccable service, it's a must-visit for anyone seeking an authentic taste of Lebanon. My visit was a journey of flavors and culture that I won't soon forget. I can't wait to return to savor more of the high-quality delights that Restaurant Beirut has to offer.

If you're Lebanese or looking to experience authentic Lebanese food, well, it is not quite that. The food in general is ok. Just OK. The chicken Shawarma had too much cinnamon. While I understand why, the taste of cinnamon is overpowering. The grilled Taouk was good and the garlic paste is good enough to go with it. It's not the case though for either the grilled meat, Kafta or the Soujouk which tasted nothing like it, and the sauce that was on it is very weird. The staff was friendly and welcoming, and the music was a nice touch. The place was generally clean, even though a bit untidy and crowded with stuff (boxes, furniture,...) If you really miss the food or want a good option, go for the Taouk.

Pictured: vegetarian tray! This place is amazing! Friendly, accomadating staff, great atmosphere, great music, and an overall "it's a holiday" vibe. They were helpful with the menus (we all spoke English, and though they had an English menu, we still didn't recognize much of it), and the waiters recommendations did NOT dissappoint. Honestly, it was some of the best food I've had in Europe, and it was at a reasonable price. Moreover, their mint tea is made fresh, and they brought us some complimentary warm tea when we were finished. Come here expecting to pay a little bit, but leave feeling like you got a great deal! PS- the place looks unassuming from the outside. Don't be shy, go in!

Beirut Restaurant Is a Must-Visit! If you're searching for authentic Lebanese cuisine, look no further than Beirut Restaurant. This gem in Köln is a shining example of warm hospitality, impeccable professionalism, and culinary mastery. From the moment you step inside, you're greeted with genuine kindness and flawless organization. The atmosphere strikes a perfect balance between cozy and elegant, setting the stage for an unforgettable dining experience. Now, let's talk about the food—because wow! Each dish is crafted with meticulous care, bursting with rich flavors and traditional Lebanese spices. Every bite feels like a journey to Lebanon, transporting you straight to the heart of Beirut. I can confidently say this is the best Lebanese food I’ve ever tasted outside of Lebanon itself. The baklava, in particular, instantly brought me back to the moment I first tried it in Lebanon—pure nostalgia in a bite. It’s rare to find a restaurant that excels in both hospitality and authenticity, but Beirut Restaurant manages to do just that. Whether you're a first-time visitor or a loyal patron, you're welcomed like family. If you’re eager to experience the rich culinary treasures of Lebanon, Beirut Restaurant is a must-visit in Köln. Highly...

Despite some reviews saying the food isn't authentic, being Lebanese myself, I can confirm those reviews are very harsh & must mostly refer to presentation elements as the food was certainly authentic in taste & was cooked to an excellent standard. Most restaurants use canned Hummus & Baba Ghanouj but this restaurant have made them perfectly. The Shish Tawoouk was cooked to perfection, generous portions of bread, toum & their fries are brilliant - double fried, so crunchy on the outside but fluffy on the inside. Staff were very welcoming & friendly. Only complaint is the lack of a baby high chair which meant waiters kept accidentally hitting our pram - but it wasn't a big deal. Tea & coffee was tasty (great choice to go with Najjar's cardamom version) & the muhalabbiya dessert was a pleasant surprise. Not sure when I'll next be in Cologne, but when I am, I'll be sure to revisit.

Worth noting that whilst the food is halal, the restaurant...
