The Copper Pot - Köln — Restaurant in Cologne

Just off of the Heumarkt Christmas market, up a little alley, this was a 'not so quiet' place to go to get away from the big crowds. We visited on a Friday and they had live Folk music.

They serve traditional and local German beer, and also a variety of British and Irish drinks too. They also serve snacks.

The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The gent who served us was Irish, so the language barrier wasn't a problem.

Be aware, this Pub/Bar is very small, but they do have an upstairs area with more seating, this would be good for those wanting to catch a Premier League/World Cup...

This place was awful. I went to the bar and we asked the bartender what their 4 specialty drinks are and she goes and pulls cards from the back and she looks at them. Looks at her bar and is so confused as she pulls random bottles of ingredients and then goes and says I don't even know what these ingredients are. We asked her what she knows how to make and says whiskey sour. She makes the whiskey sours and they were among the worst whiskey sours we've ever had. It was a female bartender and she didn't know how to make anything. Worst...

A cozy bar with great music and ambiance. Surely it’s loud during live music but you have an amazing upstairs to sit, relax and talk. I tried 3 different beers 🍻 and they are just okay. They are not strong/taste in the way they supposed to be, also compared to other Irish pubs in the town. I visited on Saturday and I felt like pub is over loaded but it’s okay that’s how an Irish pub should be. Prices are okay being located at the Center of the city.
