Looking for a chicken adventure that won't break the bank? Look no further than Das Azit! 🍗🔥 This place easily earns a strong 4 stars from me.
Let's talk about the chicken first. We tried the Ganjang Sunsai, recommended by the staff, and the Chilli Sunsai at "Korean spicy" level. Let me tell you, they didn't disappoint! The Ganjang Sunsai was like a sweet and salty dance party in my mouth, and the Chilli Sunsai had just the right amount of kick – enough to tingle your taste buds without causing a fire alarm in your mouth.
And don't even get me started on the portion sizes! These dishes might look pricey, but they're like the TARDIS – bigger on the inside. We also dabbled in the Saeu Bokkeumbap, a balanced and flavorful delight.
The only hiccup was our seating near the entrance, where the occasional puff of cigarette smoke gatecrashed our meal. But hey, no one's perfect, right?
In a nutshell, Das Azit is a chicken paradise. So, gather your pals, dig into their mouthwatering creations, and don't forget to explore the SoTonic special – it's like a vacation in a glass. Check out the pics, and go have a clucking...
Read moreThe place opened a few months ago and what a great surprise! I love the interior, it's really cute, I felt back in Korea 😍 We arrived early so the restaurant just opened (we were hungry ok 😂). There is a front part with some tables and at the back there is an area that you can reserve. The service was super friendly, the menu super similar to korean pub with delicious meals to share. Little recommandation : maybe have a menu for pictures so we can get inspired! We took a dakgangjeong (fried chicken in homemade soy sauce - a must. There is also a spicy version) and grilled shrimps with herbs. Both were delicious, served with rice. You can take your drinks yourself. Definitely recommend it for a dinner with friends and I'm looking...
Read moreMy friend and I decided to eat their Jjajangmyeon and we were quite disappointed :/ We had to wait really long for our order to arrive, even though only four other people were there and two of them already got their order. We are pretty patient people and wouldn’t complain about waiting but it was just too long of a wait. As our order arrived, we noticed that it was lukewarm and almost cold. There were also no other side dishes even though the last time we ate there, there was some pickled radish as a side dish.(last time, the jjajangmyeon was almost cold as well) . We also had to wear our jackets in there because it was so cold. Our hands were stiff from the cold. All in all I unfortunately would not recommend...
