Have eaten here several times and have always been impressed by the quality of the food, so thought we would once again take guests visiting duesseldorf to experience this. The food was again fantastic, but the entire evening was ruined by the laughable service. I thought I ordered the "sashimi bento box" I even had the menu open on the bento box page, and upon repeating our order twice our table understood the waitress/manager as saying "sashimi box" (according to her she said "sashimi boat"). All except my order arrived together, and I eventually asked about my "sashimi box" and was told it would arrive shortly. After a further wait a sashimi boat arrived and I sent it back as I cannot eat shellfish especially not raw shellfish on health grounds. The waitress/manager returned and insisted ina very arrogant tone that we have to take it as she had repeated "sashimi boat" twice when we were ordering, I explained that i cannot eat shellfish and that all at our table understood sashimi box, she left and returned saying that they cannot accept the return as it would have to be thrown away. I then said OK i'll eat what I can (roughly half/2 thirds). Afterwards when paying we inquired about dropping the significant price difference between the "sashimi box" and the "sashimi boat" or a t least a reduction, once again we were told that she had repeated the order twice and that there is no "sashimi box" on the menu which is quite ludicrous as nothing was said when I had to enquire about why my sashimi box was taking linger to come than everyone else's. The waitress/manager became more and more arrogant and then threw 30 euro on the table and said fine i'll pay your boat. We left the money on the table and left the restaurant. We were always prepared to pay the full price as misunderstandings can happen, but decided to argue due to the appalling attitude of the waitress/manager, I have never experienced such a pathetic lack of customer orientation/service in any other Japanese restaurant in duesseldorf, or the world for that matter. We will no longer visit or recommend this restaurant to our visitors as we do not want to risk them experiencing such bad service. To sum up, great food, terrible attitude...

I had a great experience at this restaurant. Honestly, the food brought me right back to Japan. I ordered the eel bento box for lunch, which cost me €17.80 (as of 2025), and I can confidently say it was worth it!

The bento box came with a really well-balanced variety of items. The highlight for me was the grilled eel served over rice and Japanese style egg which was tender, flavorful, and cooked just right. Alongside it, there was a fresh side salad with a light dressing, some crispy fried tofu that added a nice texture contrast, and six pieces of salmon maki that were simple but tasty. Altogether, the portion was surprisingly large :) oh and it also came with miso soup

Service-wise, everything went smoothly. The staff were polite and the food came out in a reasonable amount of time. It wasn’t overly attentive service, but it was efficient and pleasant, which worked well for a casual lunch.

Overall, I had a very satisfying meal and left feeling full and happy. I’d absolutely come back again, especially to try more from the menu. If you’re craving Japanese flavors or just want a solid, filling lunch, this bento box is a...

Actually it would be zero star, but as there is not the option, it is one star review.Manager AIDI was so rude and zero customer oriented..we ordered Sashimi Bento but received Sashimi boat, which was 3 times more expensive. Although we rejected the food, AIDI said that we have to eat this, otherwise they have to throw it away. After the second time she Insisted and insisted that we have to eat it!!!! As we didn’t want to discuss further, we stopped complaining and accepted (!) the food. And my husband didn’t eat the 1/3rd of it due to health conditions..and it was the best in the end! We had to pay 3 times more than what we have ordered. Such a BAD CUSTOMER service doesn’t exist in any Japanese restaurant in Düsseldorf. We have been many times in this restaurant and we had brought our guests there on that to taste the Japanese food and show the Japanese hospitality, which ended as a DISASTER.. management should think about their attitude, when there are many more Japanese restaurant in that region!! Never ever again, such a big disappointment!! P.S: the Food is good but not the...

FOOD & DRINKS You can get Sushi, Japanese Curry, Rice bowls, Bentos, Soba, Udon… There should be something for everyone who likes Japanese cuisine. I gave the Katsu Don a try. Unfortunately the meat was a bit too tough, the crispiness was almost nonexistent and the sauce a bit salty and soy driven. The portion was huge for the price. The taste was just okay. SERVICE Very busy and hectic. Several staff members went past me several times. Didn’t care who was first and only helped me when I took initiative. I was on the brink of leaving to be honest. The waiter who took my order and brought me my food was friendly and nice though. Even though I don’t care, I just like to mention that the waiters were speaking Chinese. ATMOSPHERE The bar which I prefer when I eat alone was taboo for me with no reason given. I think everything is mostly simple and functional. RATING My review may sound less positive but this restaurant is not bad. You can get pretty decent Japanese food but I’d rather have a smaller portion with more love and finesse.

Essen ist super lecker. Ich habe die Bento Box gegessen, es war super lecker und auch die Preis Leistung stimmt. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und wir mussten nicht lange warten. Ich komme gerne wieder.

This is my 4th time here. Always return whenever I come to Düsseldorf. They had large variety of fusion sushi before. This last time I came, however, things were different. A lot less options compared to before. And not all was good, a disappointment for me really as it was my favorite sushi place before. I’m very sad with this visit. Spider Roll - tasted pretty good and since it’s well priced, 4* Salmon Avocado Roll - simple yet tasty, I mean this combo is hard to fail. 3* Hokai Roll - Of all I last ordered, this is probably the only one that still reminds me of the good old tasty flavor. I recommend this. 5* Sashimi Moriawase - Salmon and the white fish is my fav. Tuna, Mackerel and Octopus aren’t my fav so it’s a matter of preference. 4* Tokyo Dragon Roll - oh no, I didn’t like it. I thought this combo is hard to fail but they did anyway. 1* So actually the food wasn’t that bad, but compared to before, the selection is far reduced and execution is less than satisfactory. I guess I need to find a new fav.
