This place does NOT match expectation and the positive reviews! The prices for cocktails highly above the average. But that`s not THE PROBLEM! The problem is that you don´t get anything special for that premium: no fancy glasses, decor and furniture, no special atmosphere, no exclusive music, no friendly service. And overall design is just an average. It looks like a student bar, where some old and random stuff used as decor. The bathroom is another place, where the improvement would be desirable. A nice middle-sized classic bar in Duesseldorf. The outside sitting area is perfectly positioned to see and be seen, while the interior is contained. The bar seems classic, a little chat with the barkeeper is helpful for further choices after a first introductory drink. The cocktails are fresh and not too weak. I had a Blackberry Bombardier: Very strong, and a slow and sweet-sour finish. Amazing composition though. Terrible experience. Would NOT recommend this bar to anyone. We visited on the 27/12 after reading positive reviews but we were deeply disappointed. We walked in and after waiting for a few minutes a very rude, unfriendly and inhospitable waiter informed us that they are understaffed and therefore they were not able to accommodate us even tho the bar was almost empty and we were only 2 people.
