Hotel Palm Premium - Hotel & Apartments — Hotel in Dusseldorf

The room is slightly bigger than the typical double room, is clean and comfortable but its seem a bit worned off. Prefer more lighting as it's a bit dim, there is an additional kitchen basin but no stove, still you can buy fruit as there are plate and knife, convenient for travelers. There is simple breakfast if you pay for it but we did not. The heater was behind the window curtain so it's slow to heat up the room during winter time. Bathroom is basic equipped, with no toothbrush or shaver, a cleanser for your whole body/face/hair. This seems to be Germany hotel practice.

There is no secured Wifi in the room, you merely login to the hotel general Wifi without password, this seem to be the industry practice in Germany, which I'm not comfortable with. The counter is manned by a helpful staff until midnight, which is ok for us who don't really stay out late.

The location is ok, where you can walk from train station to hotel around 10 min, and 10-15 min to tourist spot by the river. Our room is facing the street but no noise bothering us at night. Overall it's a budget hotel...

I stayed at this hotel for one night. The entrance was a little hard to find, but once I entered, I knew I was in the right place. Upon entry, I was greeted by a very polite gentleman. He worked the front desk and checked me in. He gave me all the necessary details for my stay. He also noticed I did not request breakfast and that if I still wanted it, I should let him know. I found this to be very thoughtful, and I appreciated it. Once I was done checking in, it was time to go upstairs to the room. The hotel has a very narrow elevator. But everything just about fit. After entering the room, I was shocked. I booked for 1 person and got two closets, a bed that fits two people and an additional couch to finish the room of. I really liked the setup of the room. Value for money in a newly refurbished clean hotel.||||Location - 5 minutes brisk walk from the train station, ideal for travelling around the city. 5 - 10 minute walk to the old town.||||Staff - Very pleasant owner/manager met us on arrival, friendly and provided advice about the hotel, things nearby and built up a general relationship. ||||Rooms - Very spacious and exceptionally clean, comfy beds and more than enough pillows. The windows are double or even triple glazed - you cannot hear the road outside which is ideal - room was very warm which was also nice.
