Only one word to describe the experience there, "Chaos" !
We had make the reservation at 1:00 in the afternoon, thought it wouldn't be so bysy, instead, it was full house, therefore we had to go to the extended room where there's larger table to accommodate 7 of us. I believe the extended room was formerly another restaurant.
Supposely QR code ordering should be easy and quick, But we tried and tried until we tried on 4 different phones found out that it was the problem of the system! We reported to one of the waitresses and she said she will come back and in the meantime left us hanging there without clues of what to do. By the time she's back, she was taking the order of the other tables who came after us!!! And when the other guests got their food we were just finished ordering, it was already 2:00! We got our BBQ raw meat platter without grill plate set up, by the time we start our "grill ceremony" was already 2:30! And since we were sitting in the side room, we won't be able to get hold of the staffs when we realized something went wrong again, the gas for the grill was almost empty, so one of us went to the main room to get the staff, and while one of the waitresses came, bringing the food for the other table.
The BBQ Plater was OK, was not as good as I expected, the side lettuce leaves were not enough, particularly the deeping sauce. The portion was really too small for the meat we ordered. A thoughtful one should come with two separated portions of lettuce, place on both sides of our long table! At end, only those who were sitting close to the lettuce and sauce could have really Korean BBQ, and the one who's on the other side got meat with rice.
BTW, the Korean fried chick was no good, the coating was way too thick. Didn't even bother to take the photo of it.
This was the worst experience I had ever had. So it's my last time here, and I rather go to the one has better equipped BBQ set which a professional air exhaust on every station, sucking the smoke...
Read moreWe (i.e. four adults) went here briefly before the 2023 Christmas holidays. We reserved a table online (which is nice), however once arriving we weren’t sure if the restaurant had actually seen the reservation or whether they just gave us the next free table. The interior of the restaurant is nice (not super fancy, but also not sub-standard). The standard table size is for six people, but there is some modularity with smaller two people tables. However as also noted in other reviews, the inside seating is (a bit) cold during the winter as the front door remains partially opened – presumably due to the lack of proper ventilation/exhaust for the table-side Korean BBQ appliances. The main responsibilities of the service staff are essentially seating diners at the table, delivering food and drinks, and handling the bill at the end. All ordering is done via a QR code. Bringing the drinks was a bit slow, and also the food delivery was not coordinated. We ordered two starters, and four mains. The order of delivery was Starter 1, Main 1, Starter 2, Main 2 + 3, and finally Main 4. Between each was roughly five minutes, with the last main however arriving for sure ten minutes after the previous round. This could be improved upon significantly. The food was very good (2x Bibimbap, one glass noodle dish, 1x Bulgogi Dub-Bab; Korean Fried Chicken and Fried Shrimp as starters). No complaints here, allergens are clearly marked in the menu which is always a plus for me. It could be mentioned that a Gochujang-based sauce will be brought to the table. We weren’t aware of this, so we ordered some sauces on the side, which we then didn’t use because we anyways wanted the Gochujang-based sauce. Price-wise I think the restaurant was very fair, potentially even undercharging one for the amount and quality of food. We paid approximately EUR 100 for the...
Read moreMy boyfriend brought be to this place as a Sunday afternoon surprise, and we thoroughly enjoyed it. The place is cozy and has a front and back seating area. Each table has a bbq slot as they also offer korean bbq as an option. The service is quick and kind. We ordered off the menu. The complimentary veggies were tasty and filling in it's own. They still had their crunch and just the right level of spice when warranted. We ordered the Tokbokki and the chicken hotplate. The rice cakes in the Tokbokki was fresh and chewy. The sauce, when first tasted, is sweetish but it's preceded by a pleasing hotness. The chicken was juicy with just the right amount of batter to sauce. The portion is very generous, so I had I pack up half of it to bring home. I also find that the chicken was too much so ordered a portion of rice to go with it. The rice broke up the richness of the chicken quite nicely. I would say the only downside to this place is that the options for vegetarians is extremely limited. Chicken is the only meat that I eat, and the chicken selection is also quite small (just about 2 mains if I remember correctly). It would be great to have more dishes to select from. Overall, I would definitely recommend this place to anyone in the mood for Korean food. You will not be...
