Restaurant Da Bruno — Restaurant in Dusseldorf

The owner showed to be a disgusting person. Walked in alone, asked if there was a table for two (the restaurant had several tables available) and he said to me that I would have to wait at least 30 minutes. My friend entered 1 min after, when I was outside, and he immediately sat him down in a table. Disgusting attitude. While we were eating, I saw the same thing happening to at least three different persons, with him selecting his clients. He should be humble and grateful for the people that wants to eat at his restaurant which, let me say, is nothing special. 1 star is way more than what he deserved. I won't ever go back to that restaurant when I'm in Dusseldorf.

I can understand the mixed reviews for this place... I had dinner here when in town for a conference and pretty hangry, and it was exactly what I needed! But I can imagine that anyone looking for an Italian fine dining experience may be disappointed. This place is truly Italian, for sure, large portions of quality food and tasty, and music pairing with the food (read: the unavoidable Italian classics).
