Food are average but a little bit pricey. But i have a bad experience during my visit. I want to pay my Bill but it was a lot of people and no one to come to me. So i decided go to cashere. I met the servant and said i want to pay. Of course i hold already my wallet in my hand. But he shouted to me that i need to pay my food before i leave.. Even i met him and said first that i wanna pay. It could be that he didn't hear me at first. So he shouted unpolitely to me to went back to my table. I just want to turned around to my table and my friend already sat back to the table. And he shouted and warned me again that i need to pay my food before leaving. So i got insulted. Because i went to him before, to paying my bill but he didnt hear me at all. During the Pay he told me that i want to run away and not paying the bill. So i told him that i was in front of him holding my wallet to pay and he shouted to me like 3 or 4 times to pay. It was so insulted situation. I never experience like that. The servant talked to me in English but before that he spoke in German. Of course i speak both of them but the servant like didn't speak both of the languages fluently. It could be a missunderstanding. Buz he didn't need to shout. He could said "please returned to your sit and i will come to you to process the payment." i hope other costumer didn't experience the same. So dont go to the cashere to pay. Just wait on your table until the servant come to give you a bill even it could be like 30 Minutes of waiting for a bill. And i hope there is a notice too for costumer, so they will wait on their...
Read moreAn amazing first time trying Korean BBQ.
The staff here were all super friendly and the food was great, there's just a couple of things that bring it from 5 stars to 4. To be able to use the grill on the table, you have to order a certain amount of large dishes which means if you then want to try anything else on the menu, you're paying a fortune. We really wanted to try a couple of other bits and then in the end ended up leaving some food behind because of the large dishes. The couple next to us left so much food when they finished it was crazy. This rule needs to be changed slightly in order to stop so much waste and allow people to try different things. One of side dishes came so late that we had almost forgotten we'd ordered it!
The other thing was the amount of tools you're given for the grill. You're only given one little pair of tongs so you're constantly going from raw meat to cooked and vice versa, not the smartest thing. Just give everyone a few tools.
All in all we loved it a great experience and if you're going to celebrate something, this place would be perfect, I just think there's a couple of things that could be...
Read moreAs usual we were about to book a table at gogimacha but it's closed at this moment, so we had to find out somewhere that we could guess the taste of dishes should be similar to real korean bbq. We made a decision to book a table at this place because it seemed to have very similar to korean bbq based on reviews and related pictures.
We came to Düsseldorf from other eu country to have korean bbq, however we found that there were no korean ppl at all except for us. After taking a bite of beef, we realised the reason why there was no korean ppl. Actually served dishes looked perfect, which made us excited. Even though beefs look fresh and nice, beef tasted with smells, which led us lost our appetite and seasonsed galbi was not seasoned at all (only seasoned with salt). I felt like they just put sauce on the top. that's all. but it's not matured with the sauce. Overall, all dishes, at least what i ordered, were not seasoned at all and they tasted far from original korean bbq / dishes... we spent more than 130 euro excluding 2 seasoned galbi that we returned. After we finished having dinner at there, we ran to...
