Teamate — Restaurant in Dusseldorf

Have been here frequently in these 10 years. I am glad that they are still here and selling good tea. Somehow their milk tea is still strange or even worse (strong chemical taste), others are good. It’s a pity that they didn’t want to improve it, milk tea is the most important drink in authentic Taiwanese bulk tea shop tho. On top of that, the shop itself put many nasty industrial fans which occupied the seat area/queue line. This made the shop atmosphere more like a factory rather than a cozy tea shop- which it was. Not sure if I just visited in a wrong day. Overall, as a Taiwanese living in the region for years, we all know that there weren’t competitors but now plenty. I sincerely hope they can...

I ordered a Taro milk tea with tapioca and it tasted very different and had a very different texture. I threw it away because I really didn’t like it, but didn’t want to complain. The owner saw this and followed me to find out why and explained that they use all natural Taro (no chemicals and no purple color) and that it can taste “weird” to people who aren’t used to it. He then insisted on giving me a replacement drink (I got lychee, which he said is also natural) and also gave an additional black tea with milk. Das Personal ist mega kulant was Falsch-Bestellungen angeht. Habe es einem Mitarbeiter gesagt und bekam kurze Zeit später einen neuen, richtigen Bubble Tea und den "falschen" Bubble Tea dazu, zur Versöhnung. Fahre seit Jahren extra nach Düsseldorf um mir den Bubble Tea kaufen zu können. Immer weiter so, Team!!

Das Café hat ein wunderschönes Ambiente, Getränke sind mega lecker und auch vegan, sie bieten wählbare Süßungsstärken an und der Preis ist absolut angemessen für das, was man bekommt.

An alle anderen, die nur dumme Rezensionen schreiben: Öffnungszeiten einhalten HEIßT NICHT SCHLECHTER SERVICE. Es ist nicht zu teuer, ihr scheint anscheinend keine Ahnung zu haben, was genau ihr zahlt: Nämlich Import, Verpackung, Getränk und unter Anderem den Service. Übrigens für die Plastik-Kritiker: Bringt eure eigenen Behälter mit und kauft euch den Bambus-Strohhalm. Ihr helft somit euch selbst und der Umwelt, wenn es euch so am Herzen liegt. Oh, und Teamate fand die perfekte Lösung für Leute, die kein Topping haben wollen was den Preis angeht. Nicht vergessen, vegane und natürliche Zutaten!!! Sie bieten auch Kaffee für Kaffeetrinker an, lol.

Volles Café und lange Warteschlangen heißt im Endeffekt: Alles ist top, ihr seid nur nicht schlau genug, die Stoßzeiten zu beobachten und euch andere Zeiten auszusuchen, wenn es euch nicht passt, dass ein Laden gut besucht ist.
