I didn't want to give Vapiano such a low rating as I love this franchise, but the service was not great at all. They have an online website where you place your order and you are able to choose if you want to leave anything off or if you want to add any extras to your meal. We were 3 people and ordered 2 salads and 1 pasta. We asked for no cheese on all three dishes yet somehow they still put cheese on my salad and I have an allergy so I sent it back. It was also clearly written on my order that I wanted no salad dressing or tomatoes (allergy reasons). When they brought my salad back a second time, it had both salad dressing and tomatoes so the chef clearly didn't read the order. They have a selection of salad dressings which shows he didn't even look at the order because he just guessed which salad dressing I wanted. I had to send it back a second time and luckily the third salad they made for me was correct. By this time my other 2 friends were done with their meal. I think it was a mistake that could have easily been avoided if the chef had just properly read the order. The salad was very nice and I love the riesling they sell there as well. It's just a pity the service was not good. Read moreThis is how one of my favorite converted to worst ever….we were asked to go upstairs and take the seat and that kids high chair will be provided…we went upstairs no one was willing to help…each waiter kept on ignoring our request to give us first the seat ( it was all occupied, if it was full why are you sending a family with kid upstairs to have the trouble— the seat was shown to us was directly in front of the toilet which I politely declined and finally after finding a seat, we kept on requested kids chair for my sixteen month old daughter.,.from the time we went upstairs we waited for half hour to still not be seated in peace…all requests were totally in vain….waiters were complete busy and kept us ignoring,….finally the one who entered us in restaurant came upsrtairs and I complained to him and he did not have courtesy to apologize ….that for me was WORSE ever and no help …but when we went downstairs to leave, he was the one who showed us where to leave from…that sums us our Sunday experience as a young Indian family….I wish I could give no star here….there is no kindness left….we were nothing but polite patient and to go through this , was not a great experience …) day of visit : 19.03.2022 time approximately 14:00...
Read moreWell I used to like this restaurant brand a lot… But It went down hill now. So let’s talk about the Food first. I had one lasagna al forno while my brother had Pasta Bolognese with bread. The lasagna used to be a very good dish but it’s not anymore. It didn’t even taste like lasagna it was quite literally tasteless and my stomach is hurting. This could be because the chefs had a bad day but who knows.
The service: Let’s talk about the service, There really wasn’t any service at all. Since you had to order your food Through a QR code meaning the only time you will encounter a waiter is when they bring your food so there is no service at all. And the one time they came they messed it up and dropped the bread onto the ground when we ordered,although they didn’t apologise they still brought us new bread.
Atmosphere: Well the whole restaurant was empty but that isn’t the fault of the restaurant but the atmosphere still looked so basic and it was so cold in there, I went in there in my winter jacket and I was still cold.
