Cafe & Bar Celona Frankfurt — Restaurant in Frankfurt

We had a terrible experience not just once, but on two consecutive days. On the first day, we waited over 30 minutes just to get the bill. We flagged down our waiter multiple times and even tried to ask other waiters, only to be rudely told we had to wait for the one who served us. Finally, we had to go up to the bar, where we still waited before we were attended to and got the bill.

The following day was even worse. We ordered a sandwich, and after 20 minutes, another waiter came by asking if we had ordered. Then, they asked us to reorder. Later, they returned again to say one of the items wasn't available, so we had to change our order. When the food finally arrived, one of the sandwiches with chips was completely cold.

When it came time to pay, they didn't show us the bill. When we asked for it, we noticed they charged us for the original order, which was more expensive than what we actually received. After asking them to correct it, they still brought a different bill with another incorrect, more expensive item. Again, without showing the bill. The third time, it was closer to what we should pay, but still not exactly right.

Overall, the service is extremely slow and careless. If you don’t want to wait 45 minutes for food in a half-empty restaurant and risk being overcharged, I recommend finding another place. Be very careful when they hand...

One of those stereotypical places where they don't really care about providing good service because they are in a prime location and know that there will always be customers no matter what. Went for breakfast and had to wait 20 minutes for my coffee to arrive. When it did it was already cold meaning that the waiter didn't bother to collect it from the bar having sat there for minutes. Asked for a replacement and thankfully it did arrive hot enough but nearly in total half an hour later. The vegetable ingredients used are frozen vegetables. I questioned the waiter about it and he did admit that they are frozen. You can see just by looking at the colour and texture of the avocado and this is confirmed by the taste when you take your first bite. All in all an awful experience to say the least. Thought I would give this place a try for a change but I will stick to my preferred breakfast place...

I would not recommend this place if you're looking for a peaceful meal and enjoyable experience. My visit was completely ruined by one waiter, to the point that I would give a zero-star review. He got our order wrong, which could have been a minor issue, but his response was extremely disrespectful. He aggressively told us, "this is your fault," and proceeded to argue with us. The situation escalated when he menacingly said he would speak to me after his shift. I've never been treated like this in any restaurant. I always strive to be polite and tip well, understanding that their job is not easy. However, the way he handled his mistake left me disgusted with the restaurant. I hope this isn't their usual standard of service.
