Disappointing Experience at CHIDOBAMEXICAN GRILL KAISERSTRAßE FRANKFURT

Today, after a long time, I visited my favorite Mexican restaurant, CHIDOBAMEXICAN GRILL, on Kaiserstraße in Frankfurt, and I was deeply disappointed with the experience. As a long-time guest and loyal customer, I have always enjoyed good service and delicious food at this establishment. Unfortunately, my visit today was far from satisfactory.

I visited the restaurant during my lunch break with my girlfriend. Right from the moment we entered, we noticed that the staff completely ignored us as they engaged in a lively conversation behind the counter. It seemed like their private discussions were more important to them than attending to the customers.

When we finally approached the staff to inquire about the ordering process, we were met with an extremely rude tone and condescending behavior. The staff member pointed out, in an unfriendly manner, that the selection begins on the right and ends at the cash register on the left. Their choice of words and expression were inappropriate and far from customer-friendly.

While we perused the menu displayed above the counter, we noticed that the staff members were still engrossed in their own conversations, showing little interest in the customers. The impolite gentleman behind the counter was even loudly conversing with the other staff members, making it difficult for us to focus on making our selection.

When we attempted to regain his attention, he appeared visibly annoyed and simply turned away without listening to us. We found this behavior to be extremely rude and disrespectful.

Eventually, we managed to place our order, but even during the process, the staff member showed minimal engagement and appeared disinterested. When I expressed my dissatisfaction with his behavior and asked how long he had been working at CHIDOBAMEXICAN GRILL, he responded reluctantly, stating it had been approximately a year, and asked why I wanted to know.

I calmly explained to him that his behavior was extremely unfriendly and lacked any sense of customer orientation. I pointed out specific examples, such as his conversation, tone of voice, and treatment of customers, which were all impolite. Unfortunately, he showed no sign of understanding and responded arrogantly, suggesting that we could leave the premises if we were not satisfied.

We were deeply disappointed by this incident and decided to leave the restaurant hungry, seeking an alternative location across the street for our lunch. Very rude and disrespectful!

The staff at this restaurant are extremely impolite and show a dismissive attitude when you ask something. I ordered a Veggie Crunch Wrap, but they gave me chicken instead—even though I am Hindu and vegetarian and cannot eat meat. When I complained, they didn’t even apologize. Instead, they blamed me, saying: “It’s your fault, you should have checked before taking the order!”

I trusted them to wrap what I actually ordered, but instead of showing any regret, they started shouting and said something like, “So what if we gave you that?” I have never experienced such indifference and disrespect—it was truly hurtful.

For vegetarians and people with specific dietary preferences, I strongly do not recommend this restaurant. You might end up in the same situation as me. I will never eat...

One of the worst experience at Chidoba Hauptbahnhof branch. We ordered Tacos veggie full menu. We received tacos without any veggie they simply put cheese, rise and onions. Nothing like what i see in their menu. Guacamole, Eisbergsalat and what not all was missing. When asked why rest is missing the person at counter was just behaving like ignorant and even i have to beg thrice for cola which was part of the meal. Totally unprofessional behaviour.
