MARUYASU Frankfurt Galeria Kaufhof — Restaurant in Frankfurt

After receiving the food we ordered, a woman who seemed to be working in the kitchen suddenly approached. Then she took one of our food (Bento) away with no words. (I think the order with other tables seems to be confused.)

Even though I said that the food exactly matched what we had ordered, she and the waitress carried the food away with no explanation.

They took our food and went to another table and asked what kind of food they had ordered.

We were staring with an absurd look, and after a while they eventually brought the food back to our place, and she disappeared into the kitchen as if throwing food. Without any explanation or apology.

In summary, I get the food I ordered, and the food was taken away without any explanation or understanding, and I get the food thrown without any explanation or apology.

Ich war aufgrund privater Gründer nun 2Jahre nicht mehr in Frankfurt und dachte mir, nach meiner Rückkehr, dass es Zeit ist mein lieblings Nudelsuppenrestaurant zu besuchen. So ging ich mit freudigen Erwartungen zum UG des Galeria Kaufhofes und wurde geschockt (im negativen Sinne)

Was ist bitte aus dem reichlichen Sortiment geworden?! Wo ist das einstige familiäre freundliche Ambiente geblieben!? Der komplette Galeria wurde offensichtlich umgebaut und man will wohl einen "nude-hipster-style" aller KDW nachahmen... Es erinnert doch eher an Krankenhaus, kalt, leer, lieblos.... Die warmen Farben, das Holz, alles wurde gegen weiße Wände und graue Kacheln getauscht.

Ich bahne mir also den Weg zum Maruyasu und werde zum zweiten Mal geschockt. Die einstige authentische Nudelsuppenbar mit ihren Hockern, dem Thresen und dem originalgetreuen japanischen Ambiente (Einrichtung) wurde offenbar komplett abgerissen und gegen eine trostlose grau in grau Hipster "Sushi-Bar" getauscht.

Vom einstigen Flair ist nichts mehr übrig....

Früher war der Laden zur Mittags und Feierabendzeit gut besucht, es tümmelten sich Japaner früher am Thresen. Ich war am Abend da und es war leer bis auf ein paar Touristen und Europäer.

Ich bestellte mir einmal Karrage-Ramen und stellte fest, dass auch der Geschmack Einbußen erleben musste. Die Qualität ist ok, aber leider auch nicht mehr. Der einstige authentische Geschmack ist weg, die Suppe wurde anscheinend dem europäischen Gaumen angepasst.... Sie ist nicht mehr so würzig wie früher, die Karrage sind auch nicht mehr so knusprig frittiert wie früher.

Das Personal ist immer noch sehr nett und höflich, jedoch denke ich, dass dieser Umbau dem Lokal doch mehr geschadet als geholfen hat.

Es ist sehr traurig, wenn man das alte Geschäft kennt, wie es früher einmal aussah im Vergleich zu jetzt wirklich eine Verschlechterung.

Ich werde mir leider ein anderes Restaurant suhhen müssen....

Really disappointed by this place, first you can't ask some questions or you feel like you disturb them, second I paid 23 euros for a small plate of sushi and a small sake, too expensive for the quality of the food. Sake was over warm or boiled because to old in hand was quite not possible. Last point you don't have even finish than someone ask you already if they can take your tablet even you still haven't finish. For me 1 star is enough, my small sushi master inside a small town of Bavaria was doing thousand time better and cheaper with a better fresh quality...
