Café BRUE — Restaurant in Mannheim

Me & my spouse have been visiting this place since the cafe opened. Pros: Varerity of Coffee's with different bean types (Mexican/Cuba's etc.) The coffee itself is great. Nice & comfortable sitting.

Cons: The staff is rude towards customers. I noticed it more than once, their treatement is very unfriendly to the customers. The coffee's are pricey (even more than Starbucks, if thats your benchmark). The cakes/cookies are overpriced for their quality. The place is not child friendly.

Saturdays, I'm sent shopping as one of my domestic chores; can you believe I schedule my chores just right to be finished buying groceries downstairs, such that when I walk past Brue, it's just in time for my afternoon coffee? - It's true, I do.

The photo? - special order, cappuccino on ice; it's so fantastic, they should add it to the menu.

In the winter, I order a Latte Macchiato with an extra shot of espresso - it's my way of getting a large cappuccino which they don't offer...

I really enjoy spending time at this café. the staff are extremely kind, friendly, and respectful. However, I've seen mice around on three separate occasions, which is very concerning. I'm worried about potential contamination, what if the droppings end up near the cakes, water, ice, or coffee machines? This could be a serious health risk. I really hope the management takes this issue seriously and...
