Great flavors of ice cream but, Customers are not treated equally!!

We found this ice cream shop through some of our fellow vegan friends. Firstly, the flavors they serve range from simple pistachio, chocolate to basilikum, and sesame.

Even though the flavors were really good, our visit was disrupted by the weird policy adopted by the staff. It was closing time for the shop and one of the staff had closed the door but not locked. However, one guy not knowing that the shop is closed entered the place. The staff indicated to him that the shop is closed. They told him to come the next day. In response to this, he indicated that he is a tourist who is in Munich for this day and he would return to Dubai the next day. But he said it was fine and left the shop. However, as soon as he left, 5 ladies in their late 20s entered the shop and said something to the staff. Based on their conversation, the closed shop reopened for only these 5 people. Seeing this wild behavior, myself, and the guy who left earlier returned to speak with this staff about this change. When asked, the initial response was that the shop was closed. When we pressed further, the response was that the shop was open for those 5 people because the chief of shop knew them. We were really surprised to see that the closed shop would reopen for a selected set of people but not the rest. When we pressed further, the lady indicated that she would be okay to let the guy in. However, by then, he had lost interest in the ice cream, and he said he no longer needed this. After leaving this shop, we spoke to the guy, and he said he was a vegan and he had walked to this shop because it was really a warm day.

In short, flavors in this ice cream shop are top notch, but the staff and their shop's policies are not held to the high standards. Until this is not sorted, I am not...

Update: We sent an email to complain about this issue. The owner Lucy responded in a very professional manner and addressed the issue immediately. We were satisfied with the results, hence we are updating this review to bring it back to five stars. Thank YOU Lucy!

—————— Best ice cream and worst unprofessional staff!! We buy from there frequently, today 17 Aug 2024, we waited in the queue for 40 minutes only cause the girls who are responsible for the service were with very long nails like an antenna, taking them ages to put one scoop properly. I always buy the big box with six flavours. She dropped the container three times and started giving me an angry face as if it is my responsibility that she dropped it. Her long nails were dipping in the ice cream and added one scoop per flavour. The box is weight based and should be filled, we explained this to her and she was making fun of my wife English words cause the girl speaks bad English. We kept explaining and clarifying, she started whispering to her colleague and laugh and we ended up with half empty box. I asked her to stamp my card, she looked at it and throw it to her colleague which mocked us again and gave us four stamps only as if we are begging. If you cannot hire professional staff then at least choose who is representing your brand. I will start searching for...

Simply amazing ice cream. All plant based, even waffles!(which usually is not the case). Very friendly girls who were serving the ice cream. Be aware that you can’t pay by cash. Little sample of your choice comes for free. I took: Black forest ice cream, Popcorn ice cream and Marie Antoinette. Sample-basilic ice cream. Yes, exactly-not simple ice creams (like vanilla, chocolatw or strawberries. Yes, there are those as well, but there were such a mouth watering and truly delicious combinations!!!
