2 stars... I should give 1 star. But maybe you had a bad day. And of course you deserve 5 stars. But maybe you changed. Life can be mean. Back to the facts, last call at 2am. I entered at 1:59 am. I asked for 1 Ardbeg. I would have left earlier than the other guests, one chatting with you at the bar, 2 or 3 sitting at the table right next to the entrance. I read in your eyes that you understood that I will be a fine guest. Leaving after 4cl of Ardbeg. I almost begged you to follow your own 2 am rule. Still you sent me away. I would have cleaned the glass for you. I would have bought the bottle to drink outside. No, I have to reduce to 1 star. I don't think you care anyway. Difficult times, I suppose. I wish you all the best. You need it. Peace.

PS: I read other reviews. Shame on you, dude! It's your business model. You didn't recognize me. That's your issue, right? Sure, no problem, your bar, your rules. I was one of your first guests when you opened the place. You played nice guy back then. You are the disappointment of the year. I like that. I give you 5 stars for teaching me how rude people can be. But 5 stars would be misleading for others, most people want to find harmony, not disdain in a bar like yours. I was so shocked by the service at this bar. My friend and I saw it on Google maps and decided to go there as it looked really cute and like they would do good drinks and have a good vibe. When we arrived (Saturday night) it was quite empty. I went to the bathroom quickly as I was bursting then when I came out my friend and I chatted and decided to move on as we wanted to go somewhere a bit busier with more of a vibe.

We stood up to go and the bartender started shouting at us in the bar, in front of the few other guests. He said he is not an idiot and he could charge me for using the toilet. I then offered to pay and he said he didn’t want my money and then after shouting a bit more waved at the door and told us to get out.

I have never experienced anything like this and am appalled. I cannot believe someone who works in hospitality would treat guests and potential guests like this. I will never come here again and will actively tell others of this experience. Came here looking for good cocktails, the reviews were mostly good. But the bartender is beyond rude. I’m a Scot, I asked for a whisky sour because it’s my favourite drink. Waitress told me I can choose my whisky but the bartender interrupted saying ‘IT’LL COST EXTRA’ so I asked what the standard whisky for the sour was. She said it’s his own ‘special recipe’ and wouldn’t tell me. I only wanted to know what I was drinking! Cocktails arrived and tasted booze free, even the Moscow mule my husband ordered.
